Market Testing prior to product launch questions
I'm just curious how exactly this works. Would love if there was some insanely detailed ebook for the newbie.
I've read lots about this and I get that I need to get a landing page, do some A/B testing, spend $200 on adwords and see what the market shows me etc.
But, how do you do all that?...landing pages and copywriting are skills in and of themselves, so are picking good keywords etc.
Plus if you slap up some landing page just to test and have no real/deep website it would seem whatever conversions you got wouldn't be accurate.
Originally I had planned on just building the product and launching based on my gut(I've had success in offline ventures with this).
But I think it would be somewhat stupid not to at least see what happens if it only takes a few hundred bucks or so. The hard part is where to begin and how to implement.
I realize there's a wealth of knowledge on these boards, curious if there was a step by step guide(or even a service) to testing a market(all the way down to the nitty gritty details, like "just use these two cheap landing pages and test copy, don't worry about getting a super high conversion rate right now X% will tell you there's opportunity"....
