G'Day Warriors,

I'm very new at this...but think I know where I want to go.
Just having trouble taking my first step !

I'm setting up a Squeeze Page & offering a FREE product...to begin my list building...( IM Niche )

So here is my question...

Squeeze Page
- Where do I put my squeeze page up ?? ( ie: its own domain )
- Should the URL be targeting keywords...(SEO) ?? ( ie: blablaIMbla dot com )
- After people Optin...what page do they go to..to download product ??

As you can see...I'm not very technical minded...one of my short comings.
So if anyone can help me with my questions above...& offer any other pertinent information I need...please...& thank you in advance.

Theo

    1. If you choose to go with a squeezepage, you put it on your website, which you probably want to get through a hosting company with a good, solid reputation.

    2. The domain (URL) should target customers. If you intend to drive traffic via SEO, then yes you want to get an exact match keyword (or as close as you can get)

    3. Your autoresponder will redirect them to the page of your choice, whether it is the download, a "Thank you" page, or another offer. You set this option in your autoresponder.

Aye - agree with the above completely.

EMD will help you get more organic search traffic. A paid alternative (since your in the IM Niche) would be to pay for solo ads. This is where you pay for someone you has a big list to send X amount of clicks to your Squeeze page.

This can be expensive for some but you will be getting targeted visitors (many of whom are buyers) to your page. This usually results in a good percentage of sign-ups.
