The Warrior Forum - How has it helped you?

This is more a question for the oldies of the forum, a question which can help the newbies get an idea from what they can acheive here.

We want to know what you have acheived throughout your time as being a member of the forum, maybe you have made an increase in profits?
You have been able to leave your 9-5 job?
You have made new friends?
You have learnt how to optimise your site?

I have only been a member of this site for a week or so, and i already feel so involved in the community, and i feel a lot more confident in my web skills. I feel like if i am struggling i can always come back here for support and advice.
It would be nice to hear what everyone else has got from the forum over their stay, or what they have experienced.

Thanks,
-Michael

I must say WF has been one of the most valuable free sites I have ever joined.
The most helpful is just reading through other people's threads and solving your own problems with what others have written. At the end of the day, a lot of the issues that IMers have are overlaping.
Also, i love the fact that my qustions are answered by many people who have knowledge on various topics related to IM.
For instance some time ago I made a thread and asked about hosting multiple website on one hosting package, and I received many, many comments telling me not only whether it was possible or not but also showing me how to do it step by step and which host to use etc.
People here definitely go the extra mile, for free.
I really enjoy it, and i bet you will too

    All the best

Thank you for your reply Jerzykaz!
I am already really enjoying it, the people are so much more active than in other forums, they just seem like they actually want to help you, instead of just doing it because they have nothing better to do!

I really like the honesty factor, especially when it comes to the WSO section. If a product is low-quality or there's any sort of false advertising, it literally takes about 30 minutes for a complaint to pop up. WF members saved me a ton of money.

I've learnt a lot of new tricks, here are a LOT of smart people on here. Some of the biggest names in the IM world are here, this is the place to be if you want to continue learning (which is ALWAYS a good idea) and stay on top of your game when it comes to major changes in our business (*cough*google*cough*)

I mostly come here when I have a real problem with my site or a question about the value of such things as blogs or certain applications. Many other forums are littered with IM scammers just posting bogus questions for links back to their client sites.

There are some very knowledgeable people in here and as long as my questions have plenty of specific detail I tend to get helpful answers back. OK, occasionally I catch someone who is very grumpy .. but that's life. This is a real IM forum and well managed. An invaluable resource for support from the community trying to learn how to make a living out of this crazy internet world.

I can honestly say I learn something extremely valuable almost every day... I usually log on to add some value to newer members, but I always come away with something that will add long-term value to my business.

I joined a while ago but only become involved recently, I have found everyone to be very helpful, and willing to give good solid advice.
I have asked a couple of questions and received answers that I can use in my business and now I feel confident enough to reply to other member's questions and hopefully I can help too.
We all learn from each other, I will not use any other forum now.

For me it's more a mindset thing.

IM can be a lonely game, so knowing that there's someone else out there doing the same thing really helps.

    Thanks,
