Building a list to promote my website, any suggestions?

Hi warriors,
I am currently building a list of different websites to use them for getting links and in the same time post useful content to them

My list includes:
- Different blogs to comment on
- Multiple Q&A to post questions and answers
- Some article directories with a link in the resource box
- Many forums to place my link in signatures
- Social bookmarking sites "only popular"

Am I missing something? Can I add more options to increase my daily link building in more places? Any suggestions would be appreciated

    I think you should promote it by writing high quality articles and submit them to top tier directories like Ezine Articles, Buzzle, ArticlesBase, etc. Video marketing, social bookmarks and forum signatures are also good for promoting your squeeze page.

      Do SMO only to promote sites. This one is the way to promote site or generate more traffic.

        Yes, I have already done On-page SEO for my homepage "about 2-3 long-tail keywords". What I am trying to do now is to build links from many sources to rank high in Google. That's why I asked you to give me more options to work in

        Nice idea danlew but I can not myself write very well so I am going to hire someone to write them for me. This gonna be a paid service but I think it is very effective.

        I will invest some money in hiring someone to write articles for me. PPC advertising is another option that I will definitely try. Any other effective paid services available?

        before my website can generate traffic socially and become viral, I think I need to build initial amount of traffic to start with so other types of marketing are also useful. Don't you agree with me?

    if you want,
    spice it up by getting one or more fiverr
    gigs that deal with backlinking, social media,
    offsite seo or similar.

    Advantage is that you get access to expensive
    seo tools that might or might not be useful
    for 5 bucks.

      I didn't try it before. Do you think they can assist me in building more quality backlinks for that cheap price?
