Man I was working so much I wasnt watching the news. All of a sudden Dublin closes. I live in Fort Worth and have a lake house in Granbury Tx. Well not lake house, lake mobile home lol.

Anyways. Dublin Dr. Pepper is made with real Cane sugar. They got shut down by Dr. Pepper. My friend who I had not seen in months was storing Dublins in his basement. Now he is selling it for 300.00 a case on ebay or close to it.
He also sells it in granbury for like five bucks a bottle.

I can not believe I missed this. I had some extra money a month or so ago and could of bought a 1000.00 bucks worth which equates to 15,000 street value.

Anyways who is buying up twinkies right now.

Yes. I have sold on ebay for a long time, do not do it any longer, but anytime a candy was not made any longer or anything else I would buy by the case and resell on ebay. Look up Dublin Dr. Pepper then go search eBay, They are not doing to bad for a 20 dollar case. Twinkies will be the same way.

My prediction. five or six dollar a package after they close. 10 to 20 a year later.

I had only recently learned about Dublin Dr. Pepper, anyway, no idea it was getting shut down. Too bad, it sounded like a great tasting version of Dr. Pepper, which I do enjoy! And I love anything with pure cane sugar in it. Tastes great and better for you (as better as it can be, it's still a bunch of sugar!).

    Yes, hindsight is 20/20!

Dublin didn't taste that different. Not as much as say Mexican Coke vs US Coke. We have a local store that sells nothing but sodas and vintage candies. I was just in there yesterdat and I saw cases of Dublin. Maybe I should go over there in the morning and grab one.

The day the Twinkie dies is the day America dies.

Twinkies and Dr. Pepper are everything that's wrong with American food, ha ha, even though I do love Dr. P.

We love too much crap, extremely unhealthy chemically engineered food in this country!

Well, selling on eBay *used* to be rather addictive!

I wish I could remember the details, but I *think* it was one of the empty original Twinkies boxes that sold some years ago for over $400.00.

Moral - Enjoy the Twinkies but save the boxes .
