Which outsourcing site is right for this?

I have a project for which I require some help along the lines of a virtual assistant. I need thirty people to do about an hour's worth of work each (it has to be different people, instead of one person doing thirty hours' worth of work.)

Will I be able to hire this many people through one project posted on an outsourcing site? If so, is there one site in particular that is best for this type of project?

Hmmm... sounds like you need to "Crowdsource".

Have you considered looking into Amazon's mTurk (Mechanical Turk)?

    oDesk may be another alternative.

    Best!

P.S. let us know how it goes

Amazon Mtruk sucks, I had a terrible experience. I got three warnings from Mtruk that my post violates their rule in less than 5 hours before I was emailed I am suspended (I used to outsource their).

The funny part I didn't even had a post a live at the time. Amazon automation system has serious issues.

Odesk is a good one, you will find many people over there.

You could try a site like microworkers that lets you hire multiple people all for the same task - that's assuming they will all be doing the same thing.

For anything to do with outsourcing I like to stick to oDesk. Essentially you can just put up your job posting and hire thirty qualified people for it.

Fiverr is an excellent source for small projects although you dont mention what you have in mind. Things like creating vids, bookmarking services, comment posting or Senuke blasts are why I use fiverr. Just make sure the gigs have good reviews before using a particular service.
