Hi there

I recent have set up a new fan page on social networking - what is the best way to get traffic to it?

    You can use of facebook PPC. It is the best source of traffic IMO.

    Yes I would believe Fb PPC is the fastest, targeted method for getting traffic. If you want to however do it free then you will need to work on building tag groups and relationships with other similar groups within your niche. When you get a small following then you will need to keep them engaged with engaging content and influence them to share your content with their friends.

    Acting as your new page (by clicking "use facebook as 'name of your page'), search and like other pages in your niche. Then add value to their posts by commenting on them yourself. Make sure that you are adding real value to the conversation. If your comment is valuable, humorous, insightful, knowledgeable etc, then people will click over to see your page and will join if they like what they see.

    If you have friends on Facebook, you can invite them to like their fanpage. You can keep adding friends in your niche and invite those new friends to your page everytime you get them.

    Another great way to get traffic, is to use ezine solo ads targeted to your industry category. You can do this and get likes to your page super fasts because all you are asking for is the "Like." AND... remember that these will be people in your industry so it's highly targeted.

    Fb ads are the way to go. You can really target well with them and if you set them up correctly you can get really cheap clicks.
