Oursourcing help please!

Hi everyone,
I am relatively new to SEO and IM (5 months) and now I am mostly learning and trying to put all my efforts into this. As I said, I am new to Internet Marketing, but when it comes to marketing I have several years of experience and I can say I was a successful marketer. Due to some changes in my life I have decided to try myself at Internet Marketing.
So, anyways after 5 months I have managed to gain some profit and decided to try to outsource over fiverr. Could someone please give me some tips where to invest money. Should it be AMR Blast or something else?
It would be great if anyone of experienced marketers could be so kind to give me any kind of advice when it comes to outsourcing.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

If I was you I'd post my requirements on Elance.com (or other similar outsourcing sites) and see what kind of feedback you get. You can pick the potential providers brains for free to during the pre-sales process (always a good way to get a bit of free consultancy advice).

Thanks, but what services do you recommend? What do you think about fiverr?

Go to the SEO sub section of this forum, read all the stickies, and then you'll know what questions to ask. This is like asking "do you like white socks or cheese pizza"

      Hey,

I have outsourced many things on Fiverr - ranging from articles to whole pages.

Deciding what to invest your money in next is tough to give advice on -

It really depends what your niche is, what your goals are with it, what you are doing currently, etc.

I do not outsource my articles any more - I am partial to my own writing

Are you looking to drive more traffic to your site? I offer that because it is the name of the game - If so, one of the things that has worked well for me is to get involved with my niche community.

Social media is a sure fire way to gain traffic as well.

Those things don't cost anything -

The things I outsource these days are tasks which I do not do well and take up my time - for me, graphics, headers, little jobs here and there.

      Hope that answers your question?!

        Thank you.
Currently, the niche I am trying to outsource is 'health niche'. We have a team of successful experts worlwide that are submitting articles to our directory and I am responsible on selection. I am writing articles myself, since I am a cardiologist, but what I would like to do is to gain more traffic. What would be your recommendations on this?

Fiverr?? for Investing? Iam not sure of the question yet regarding fiverr.... But as IM you can do sooooooooo many things.... Ranging from selling own services... sell other products and services and use your skills..... For trying something new on Internet does not require much of investment.... Can give you some good ideas if i'm aware of your background (educational or technical or interests)....

    And best of Luck....

Hello, thank you for your wishes. I wish you best of luck as well. Well we have articles with good quality, but seems that we are struggling to gain more traffic (now only 300+ daily), and that is what I would like to focus on. What kind of 'oursourcing' would be best for this?

Two things... First i suppose you are selling products.... For that try using google product and shopzilla.... will get some good traffic (actual buyers) if product you are selling could be listed over there...

Secondly if you want to increase just the traffic.... then go for some info graphics, join discussions on relevant forums, work more on SEO.... Publish those articles on your blog then start a campaign for keywords in every article (develop back-links, article submissions etc,)...

In your case you can outsource campaign .... but definitely result oriented.... will have to check the feed back etc before outsourcing....

Fiverr is a great place to get "Hit or Miss" results, while having a high chance of losing more than you make. There are a few amazing deals to be found on Fiverr, but they can be difficult to find. If you do find one, be sure to mark it as a favourite or bookmark it in your browser.

My suggestion would be to get on oDesk, Freelancer, or eLancer and post a job for a Virtual Assistant. Before you post the job, write a description of the work to be done, including all requirements of the VA. You should also include knowledge and skill requirements, otherwise you may get people that do not understand the task.

To determine what kind of work you want done, think of what you have done that brought buyers to your website. If you had success with blog posting, hire someone knowledgable in your Niche to create X blog posts over the course of X days. (The X is whatever you want and can afford)

I don't recommend fiverr. Too many amateurs. Try Elance, and pay a decent rate, it will be worth it to get higher quality workers who won't burn out on you after 3 months.

I would suggest you invest your time and money by hiring individual VAs rather than a company. That's because you can train VAs and they are much cheaper. You can even hire one at 250-300 USD per month.

Do you actually have a coherent plan to make money from this site?

Traffic is useless, converting traffic is what you need.

So, what constitutes a conversion on your site? Clicking an ad? Joining a list? Buying a product? Completing a CPA offer?

This is very important to work out before just looking for traffic.

fiverr is not the place for this sort of thing.

its just for small simple fast gigs.
most of the time is stock gigs, not custom gigs.

I wouldn't suggest using Fiverr if you want serious, long term help. Check out vWorker.com: How work gets done. Guaranteed! - it has great talent and a great system ensuring quality work. Keep in mind that outsourcing is only as successful as the person you outsource to. Make sure you conduct interviews, make sure the person you are outsourcing to is qualified, and of course, make your specifications clear.

There are lots of people who can write articles for you, create backlinks, do your administrative tasks so that you can focus on the business end of your IM campaign.

Yasir, are you using people from vWorker per project or are you using vWorker as a pass through for workers that you are using on a regular basis?

I just went over to their website to check them out after reading your post and couldn't really tell if it was more appropriate for individual projects. I agree with your comment that outsourcing is only going to be as good as the people you find. People tend to start off pretty good and then disappear. Most recently, I had someone working for a trial period with every intention of keeping him full time only to find that he was actively soliciting other work while being paid by me and of course not finishing my projects to completion. Really looking for a good solution without all of the headaches.

I've been using Vworker on a project by project basis but there are some workers who I have long term deals with. You're absolutely right, one of the most frustrating things about outsourcing is to find somebody who is motivated enough to work long term. I think one way to ensure people stick around is to make sure you pay them a decent amount, although many say this defeats the purpose of outsourcing in the first place. Never pick people with really low bids, you know? They'll eventually just get sick of it and move on.

I think Vworker has a pretty good system and a decent pool of talented workers. A lot of them are willing to work long term, if you are happy with their work. What kind of work do you generally look to outsource? If it is something that does not require much training, you should avoid building long term relationships with people and focus on individual projects. It would reduce a whole lot of disappointment no doubt

On fiverr I use a gig for a 5000 backlink pyrimid. The guy who does it is has very high ratings (1000's of orders). Social bookmarks have also worked well for me.

I would strongly caution you against the google+ gigs there. Ive heard of loads of people penalised by google for using them. Just what ive heard, i dont have personal experience of it.

I'm trying to find someone to do more of the technical maintenance on a couple of my sites as well as putting together other sites on an ongoing basis. I think you're right though. I've been slowly coming to the realization that someone full time may not be in the cards. I will most likely group my tasks each week and give vWorker a try. Nothing else to lose at this point (other than time). Thanks for the recommendation.

Fiverr is good for quick tasks that you just don't want to bother with yourself. But you've got to look around and test the waters there to find good gigs that really deliver superior results. If you want more long-term, ongoing tasks done, then getting a VA, either full or part-time, is probably a good idea. You can find one in many different places that can fit your budget. Freelancer.com and oDesk are two good places, as others have mentioned. Just remember, you have to give your VA detailed instructions as to what you want and train him or her to your standards, so you will be sure of having a long, happy working relationship together.

I use oDesk for my outsourcing - I have lead VAs and each lead VA has a few teams to do the work. When it comes to promotion and some other online stuff - there's just always a huge need of extra hands.
