what do you mean by building list

... I have only made some clickbank and adsense sites. Everybody here at warrior suggest to build a huge list.. What do you mean with this? Is it gathering all the emails? What can i do with them? Sorry for such a rookie question

    If you build a nice list of buyers (emails) you can then keep marketing products to them over and over! The key though is to have a list of BUYERS not freebie seekers. They say that a list of 1000 buyers is worth as much as a list of 10000 freebie seekers.

    Plus... you will have a lot less spam complaints etc.

    So yes the money is in the list as they say. That's why you see so many WSO's that offer 100% commission to affiliates. If you do that and you have a good converting product you will have more people mail for ya.

    Sure you wont be getting any money now, but you'll have that list of buyers to market other good converting products to over and over.

    Listen, if someone has bought from your website a clickbank product or clicked on an ad from Adsense then the odds are that they will do it again. They just have to be prodded but you need to know who they are. Getting to know them requires their name and email address. That is building a list of buyers. If people are curious then they too need to be on your list so that you can educate and/or promote your niche.

    Building a list of these type people is a long term project but the odds are better for future sales with this type business methodology.

    A list is a group of people's emails that you gather from your website. To get these emails, you enter a section on your website like: "Enter your email here to get notifications from this website" or (even better): "What to know all the best belly fat burning tips? Enter your email here and get daily tips!"

    When you make a new post, make a product, launch a website, etc you email this list. While a huge list doesn't necessarily guarantee success (it matters on the quality of the list), it is better to market to people interested in your website, rather than to strangers.

      It's very difficult to sell large numbers of informational products of the ClickBank type without doing it by email, because what actually sells them is "the strength of the recommendation" you give people. They buy them because you're the person recommending them, and you're also the person they trust. So you have to have a way of establishing their trust by developing a relationship with them, and it's pretty difficult to do that without having their email addresses.

      Having their email addresses also allows you to promote other things to the same people. Upsells. Downsells. Different sells. It's where most of the money is, in affiliate marketing.

      It also enables you to keep them coming back to your website, by sending them valuable information about the niche, and links to your own site. Few people buy at their first visit to any site, and few people return without reminders, so without a list you can only ever hope to earn a very small proportion of the money "available".

      Once you have a list (of their email addresses) you can create a long term relationship with them and as your create or promote products you can offer the ones that might appeal to that list.

      Aweber is probably the most popular but get response is cheaper and has the same capabilities. Check these out and it will give you a better idea.

    Building a list is when you set up a lead capture form and drive people to it so you can collect their emails and market to them later and/or create an automated follow up email newsletter to give them insightful information that will help them acquire more knowledge in the niche that you are in, thereby getting your list to: know, like, and trust you, which over time, will build a solid relationship and when you do decide to make a promotion of a good product and not some junk, a certain percentage of people from your list will buy because they: know, like, and trust you and believe your honest recommendation.

    When someone visits your website they generally have 2 choices.

    Close the browser, or read the content.

    If they like the content then you should be using listbuilding to generate repeat visitors. Give some sort of incentive for the visitor to enter their email address so that you can contact them again in the future.

    It's pretty much like running a real shop where you train your staff to get the details of your customers so that you can follow up and make repeat sales.

    Just make sure you offer something of value that the prospect may actually want.

      Yes it's best to start list building as soon as you can - then you can
      start to send that email list out other related offers that are of good quality.

      As Bill Cousins has already pointed out above - it's best to try and build
      a list of buyers, but do build a list of freebie seeker too, because you can
      build a relationship up with this freebie list to a point where they will trust
      you...giving you the chance to convert them into buyers.

    Building a list means setting up a squeeze page with autoresponder code on the squeeze page to collect opt-in emails. Then market and market some more to get a ton of subscribers, and continue to build your list. If you can build a list of about 5,000 subscribers, you're more than likely sure to make money everyday... depending on price and offer of course.
