Clickbank [Avg $/sale] N/a

I'm not too familiar with clickbank but when it says

[Avg $/sale] N/a

Does that mean that the person doesn't pay out? Or does it just mean that nobody has promoted that product yet?

Would you recommend to stay away from these products?

Also, when it says "Copy the following HopLink HTML code to your website"

Do I have to do that? What does that do?
#$ or sale #avg #clickbank #n or a

That means the average commission per sale for the affiliate. You still get paid, probably more likely means that there have not been any / many sales on the product to calculate an average... maybe... but still probably not a good sign.

    No.

The person doesn't pay out anyway. ClickBank's automated payment system pays out. The vendor never touches the affiliate's money.

Harvey will perhaps answer this, and more reliably than anyone else, when he sees your question. I think it will show that if no affiliate's made a sale within 8 weeks, or something (the period over which the Marketplace statistics are monitored), and in that case the gravity should also be shown as 0, perhaps?

    No.

There can be some good products that no affiliate happens to be promoting at the moment. But - as always - you'll need to check out the product before you promote it anyway.

It means that if anyone clicks on that, to go the sales page, they'll have your affiliate cookie loaded on their computer. And (in theory, at least) if they buy it during the next 60 days, you'll earn an affiliate commission for it. (Provided they didn't click someone else's hoplink more recently than they clicked yours. And provided they didn't "clear cookies" before returning to the sales page and buying it. And so on.)

That's explained here: All About HopLink

and at the end of the page there is a note

You're right. It says, "No data found for this vendor in the selected time period."

Thanks. I didn't even notice that.
