Hey Warriors,

I am looking to get my brother to sign up here at the warrior forum but as we live in the same house that would mean we will have the same IP address is this in violation of warrior forum rules and if so how will I get around this?

Regards,

Jouvan

We've had husbands and wives with separate accounts, why not brothers? If you have any problems, this is the kind of thing Thomas can help you with via the Help Desk.

    Hi Jouvan,

i dont think this would be an issue, to prevent any issues i would advise not being signed in at the same time as this may look suspicious to the Warrior team.

However i will take a closer look at the rules and get back to you if i find a definitive answer.

    Jouvan,

Both my daughter and I access the forum from the same computer. I just let Paul Myers know and he said it was fine as long we did not post reviews on each others WSO's (not that we have any ) etc without disclosing the relationship.

    Jouvan,

    Diana's got it right.

As long as you disclose the relationship (Dude is my brother") when commenting in ways that might seem promotional, you're unlikely to ever have problems over it.

However, if either of you ends up banned for any reason, the other would be looked at more carefully. The circumstances most likely to create that "closer look" would include things like you getting banned for a hinky WSO and your brother suddenly posting his first WSO.

It's pretty common sense stuff. I don't see it being a problem, but it's best to mention the potential triggers up front.

OK cool thank you for the heads up. I will be encouraging him to post a WSO at some point but not for awhile yet he is still very very new to IM and if I comment on any of his stuff I will always remember to let every1 know that he is my little bro
