What should my website be?

Hello Everyone,

I lived in a third world country in which Internet Marketing is not yet at its peak like in western countries. I already know how to create website (via HTML, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, etc.), SEO methods and a bit knowledge about Adsense, Affiliates, etc.

I was planning to make a website but I was really stuck on what my website content should be or what is my website all about. I wish my readers will be happy with my content and hopefuly revisit my site again and again.

I wanted to create a website that has the greatest potential to earn money based on my own knowledge.

Should I:

1. Make a website that is related to my field of expertise which is all about engineering?

2. Make a website that promotes our Traditional Music? I am a member of the pioneering Music Traditions performing company in our country

3. Or should I make and compete with existing website with hot topics such us about SEO, Internet Marketing, etc.

4. Or others ( I will really appreciate suggestions from you guys who I considered veteran in this type of business).

5. Or create a web forum.

Our country is about to fully engage in this type of marketing and I wanted to grab this opportunity. Please Enlighten me!

Thanks in advance

You can have it all, just plan it very well. Each month to start a new site that will be good idea. Make a solid scheduled to develop your sites. All your topics are great, even your traditional music niche is priceless to develop, if you expose it and your visitors like it, no need to worry.

Thank you sir, I also had it mind. Creating all of those topics but I am just a self starter and I have no team as of the moment. In your own opinion sir which topic would have greater chances of having a good number of readers?

Also I am afraid to invest my time and money on making sites about traditional music. Cultures and tradition are being left behind in most of the countries I suppose. Less and less people are interested about it.

I don't think anyone can tell you accurately what type of site you should start. Just pick something and build it. Then build something else after that. And keep building things until you find the money.

Pick what you are most passionate about. This is so that you can work on the website even if it doesn't make you any money. It takes time to get somewhere. Then it's all about the plan behind the website. A goal that you want to achieve.

So if you passion is engineering, go for it and master your methods on it. After you make this website successful, move on to another one.

its really your choice,a product or service you offer maybe or something your passionate about or a money making site perhaps with clickbank products.
there are a lot of things you can think on and nobody can really tell you,its your decision.

    Hi Ezgoal,

It's great going for your passion provided there is a demand for it. If you want to make money from your website there has to be a market for what the site is about.

Go to the Google keyword tool (just google it and you'll get a link), enter some of the main keywords for your engineering topic and see how many people are searching for it. If there is lots of demand for your keywords, go for it.

If not, find another popular topic to work with. Look at the magazines on the racks of shops in your country, see what people are buying. All of these magazines are profitable markets.

If you need help getting your site going, drop me an email or PM me.

    Good luck,
