Is Anyone Using Amember Pro?

Hey fellow Warriors,

I just bought Amember Pro as I intend on producing my first WSO. I'm quite curious as to what others are using for this software to play their videos on their pages.

I understand that Optimise Press changes a video hosted on YouTube slightly making them more professional when published.

For those with experience with this software please indulge me. If I use YouTube to host my videos and make them unlisted adding them to Amember will they appear differently like more professional?

Does anyone know of any other free video hosting sites other than Youtube, were I can safely upload, copy and paste the code into my pages scripted by Amember Pro?

I would never recommend using Youtube for hosting videos people have paid for. Even if the player changes things to make them look more professional it is not recommended.

If you want to get serious about product creation then you definitely need to get some type of hosted solution. The industry standard these days (and what I use) is Amazon S3 for the hosting of the video files and there are many options for the video player. If you are looking to secure the videos then a plugin such as S3 Flowshield is probably best.

I use profitstheme with s3mediavault plugin. I would not either use youtube alot of my vids are made by me and I don't want them floating around. Amazon s3 and s3mediavault keep that from happening. Just wish I would of bought dap which s3mediavault is included in.

I use Easy Video Player with Amazon S3 for this. EVP is much easier to use than Flowplayer.

Hey SamJ, I was thinking of using Easy Video Player too. How does it work may I ask? If you create a video in Camtasia for example do you have to convert it to the players format?

The way most of the video players work is that you create the video in Camtasia or any other video editing program and then export the video in one of the suggested formats -- the norm these days seems to be mp4 format as it offers the best quality/size ratio. It's what I use for all my files.

You then upload the video file to a service like Amazon S3 and then enter the url of the file into the video player and usually it will then give you some code to paste into your webpage.

I know Amazon S3 sounds complicated and expensive but it really is neither. It's cheap as chips for what it is and once you get things setup it's very easy to use - much like the FTP on a regular webhost. Better to get familiar with it now so you can use it for all your projects down the line. Not only is it good for hosting videos but any other files you want serve to customers.

I have never experienced using Easy Video Player. But this product is one of my aim product for future project.

In my opinion, i am put video in youtube as only part of traffic purposes. Not host everything in youtube.

And a video in my salespage is resources other than youtube or any free video platform. Just in case your account at youtube got banned, our video at salespage still live.
