Hi how are you friends,

I am creating my website and I need your help, please

I would like to ask you some question about the cost of outsourcing.

I really do not know how outsourcing system works.

I see people put 10/hr.. Do I need to pay $10 for all work done or each hour they work?!

And How much do you spend to get the result you want in graphic, website, writing, SEO, and so on.

And what do you care about when you outsource,

Price or quality and skills?! And how do you select the worker?!

Looking forward receiving your replays

Best Regards,

I don't put hourly's on my programs, I give them specific tasks and one bid. They need to do everything for that prices. I am very explicit. I usually get alot of work done and think that I get alot cheaper than 10 an hour. But most of my workers come from countries where 200 a month is full time income too.

It means they will charge you $10 per hour and the quote will depend on how many hours they think the work will take. It really depends on where you're outsourcing.

I always give new outsources a small project to work on first. If I like what they do I give them more work. I spend more for writing because I've found you really need someone with English as a first language if you want anything decent.

Yeah I used to go with English speaking as first language but I found I'm editing everything anyways so what the heck. Alot of non English speaking as first language do not put the I's and who and the in it, they write proper English. I like what we speak, which is English slang.

For projects where some kind of final product can be produced (i.e. website, or backlinks), I have seen it can be better to pay for the whole project rather than pay per time. Some workers purposely work slowly so that they can get paid more. As for the cost, it really depends on a variety of factors, including your relationship with the worker, the amount of time they will complete it in, their expertise and the task being done.

You should never choose a worker based only on his or her price. While the lowest priced worker is not always the worst, you should interview them to see if they have what it takes to do your project. Happy outsourcing!

I never do any hourly jobs. When I outsource, tell them what they have to do and give them a fixed rate.

I don't outsource to overseas countries anymore. Did it for 12 years and that was enough. Now 8 of my 9 helpers are within my state, let alone country and life has been oh so sweet!

It's kind of like when you finally decide to get off godaddy shared hosting and upgrade to your own dedicated web server. Some of you guys know what I mean....you just don't have to worry about a bunch of things when you have your own web server right?

Same thing with outsourcing. Once you give up the idea of outsourcing just to save a buck, you'll be amazed at the quality, loyalty, safety and growth potential that present themselves when you find the right local help.

Plus, remember that there are tons of unemployed helpers in your country who have figured out how to setup an office in other countries.....just to make it LOOK like they do business in other countries so that you will work with them!

But they're really in a basement apartment in Chicago!

If you're so bent on outsourcing just so you can tell your friends you outsource, at least make sure they truly reside in India or Philippines or wherever.

    Best Regards,
If you just hire people for single projects, you should consider a fixed price for the project; doesn´t matter whether we are talking about articles, header, set up, backlinking, etc.

How much you can spend for SEO depends on your budget, the keywords, whether or not you have the money to go through the dip, etc.

In all cases, people with better and higher skills request more money from you. The quality of website you need depends on the purpose, better said for what you need and use the website.

It depends on the job, and who is doing the job for you.

Some job better hourly, while others some better by agreement.

I think it doesnt matter who or what they are doing. As long as you are getting more money coming in than going out. THat is how many people fail with outsourcing.

We give our outsourcees small tests first, and then you sort the wheat from the chaff. You will know straight away who should stay and who should go.

Also make sure if they are not doing things properly do camtasia videos, that has increases our workers and the stuff they do for us by 300%. I mean it really is that powerful, and how long does it take for you to set up a quick camtasia video...what? like 2 minutes out of your day. So its well worth it.

Just test first, and start off small...then ramp it up when more money comes in.

    Cheers.

Remember that you're in control here.

You're the one that can define the terms of the deal. If you want to pay fixed price, say so. Likewise, if you are willing to pay on a time and materials basis, says so.

The worst the outsourced worker can do is say no, and you continue your search for someone.

As has been mentioned, it's important when selecting a worker you've no experience in to insure yourself against the potential of them not being what you expected. Limit your exposure / commitment to paying them by agreeing milestones within a project with graduate pay for completion of them. Ensure you both fully agree these terms before commencing and use Escrow in case of disagreement.
