Internet Marketing's Biggest Secret!
I've seen a number of posts here lately by people that seemed to be completely overwhelmed and confused by internet marketing.
They are either looking for a magic bullet, or are completely lost and have no idea where to begin.
So today I wanted to break internet marketing down into what I feel are the nuts and bolts of this game.
I like to call it 'Internet Marketing's Biggest Secret', but the truth is that if you think about this so called 'secret', I'm pretty sure you already knew it.
So here we go.....
For me, internet marketing comes down to two big factors.
"Traffic and Conversions".
That's it. That is all you have to worry about when it comes to internet marketing.
It doesn't matter whether you are doing Clickbank marketing, Amazon marketing, CPA offers, your own products etc., all you need to do is drive the right traffic to it, and then convert that traffic.
So how can you use this information?
Well it's easy. Remember the only things you have to worry about are "Traffic and Conversions".
So ask yourself two questions.
1) How am I driving traffic to my offer?
2) How am I converting this traffic?
Traffic - When it comes to driving traffic, you want that traffic to be as targeted as possible!
Why? Because if you offer people something they actually want, they will be far more likely to buy it.
I'm in the SEO game so I drive all my traffic through organic Google searches. I rank my sites in Google for keywords that people actually use when they are looking to buy something. If you have money to spare, then use PPC advertising to drive highly targeted traffic to your site. This will get you much faster results. If you don't have too much money to burn, then go the SEO route. It works well.
Conversions - Show people the benefit of what you are promoting. At the end of the day, all people want is something that will benefit them. If your traffic is highly targeted like I suggested in step 1, then you won't have to do much to convert them. They will already be looking for what you are offering them. Simply remind them why they are looking for this offer by telling them how they will benefit from owning it.
It sounds way too simple, but believe me when I tell you, this is all you need to know when it comes to internet marketing.
"Traffic and Conversions".
Too many people throw up a website and then wonder why they haven't made any sales a week later. They then think that internet marketing doesn't work, or that it's a scam.
The truth is that either they didn't get enough or any traffic, or they got the wrong kind of traffic and couldn't convert it.
Next time you are overwhelmed by internet marketing, and are thinking about quitting, just say the words "Traffic and Conversions", and focus on that.
You will be amazed at the results you get if you focus your attention on that.
