Holy Moly - 1221 hops, no sales.

I finally started posting here the other day when I decided I'm going to revamp some IM projects. I've been focused on my offline marketing company for the past year.

Get this... I log into clickbank for the first time since...maybe last summer? I have 2 sites that I completely forgot about. I built them in a flurry of activity like a year ago.

CB stats only go back to September. One of these sites has 626 hops in that time. The other site has 589.

No sales!

I think it is something wrong with the CB link I used? That, or the products are so sucky, that they just don't convert....at all. Or, I suppose it could be that the traffic could be ridiculously UNtargeted. But then, why would there be hops? And, the SEO in place is with super low competition long tails words - the Google analytics reflect targeted visitors.

Interesting.

I think I'll reset the CB links and see what happens.

What do you think would be the cause of that many hops with no sales? Likely something I did wrong, I bet.

    How accurate are you describing the product on your site, compared to what they find on the landing page? If the click through and the landing page for the merchant is horrible, you won't get sales.

    That brings up the question, were there any clicks to the order form submit?

      Alexander is right. If it's a review website, how accurate are you describing the product?

      How is the landing page? Is the salescopy catchy?

      Check the statistics of the product on cbengine.com and you can see how well they are doing. Buy it sounds like a crapy course.

    push the sales with adding some killer bonuses.. you can buy some wsos with MRR with, it'll literally make you good sales.... It's better strategy than adding/ editing some review copy again

    It's a guessing-game ...

    Lack of list-building, I suspect. Without building a list, 1221 hops and no sale isn't abnormal.

    Or it could possibly be a product-selection problem? But lack of a list is my first guess, here.
