Maybe someone reported you as a spammer?

I dont think (though not sure) that its about the number of tweets. I would think it has more to do with the fact that your account is new and you have been sending lots of tweets to people who are not following you and so some of them may reported you as spammer.

I would suggest creating a new account, but try to move slower and not so aggressively. good luck.

You can block users and report as spam. That's probably what happened. Just out of curiosity, are you seeing conversions from Twitter, or just a lot of clicks with low conversions?

Actually Twitter has been working hard to make the platform even more robust like Facebook. Twitter was unnecessary sued for spamming and it was so badly flooded with Serious Users, Spammers & Bots that in the peak hours we used to get the Twitter down errors.

Now they have start working in the direction so that not many messages can be sent to the users that are not following you. If you want to use twitter and send messages, send them in a limit. Don't overdo!! It is a great tool to get some serious traffic.

well im targeting people, and im having quite alot of clicks, but havent seen any sales however I only did about 20 tweets until my account got blocked, and I received more then 27 unique clicks and 47 in total not sure if thats good or bad, but one girl also asked me if my offer really works....

if it wasnt for the account suspended, but its cool, i just wanna know why my account has been suspended so I hopefully wont repeat the same mistake, just gotta learn from it, thats why i just wanna know why it has been suspended so that i can make the most out of this, i think if i send enough tweets a day i culd make a couple of sales a day

    There could be 2 reasons.....

    Someone might have reported you.....

You have flooded your account yourself "considered spam" in Twitter TOS....

Twitter bans accounts due to aggressive following, aggressive replies and aggressive DM.... So always be cool on twitter

    Regards

      That will be it.

I would message at all if I were you - unless the recipient expects one that is.

It has been reported from other twitter marketers that using a new account to send @replies right away will get your account suspended. If you wait a few days to start sending replies and mix in normal tweets- no links or hash tags at a 3:1 ratio three normal tweets to about one reply tweet you should be ok. Try setting up multiply twitter accounts to spread your efforts- instead of sending 10 replys break it into 2 accounts sending 5 replys each mixing in normal tweets. I am asumming you are using the accounts to post at replies to non-followers. Also you may have been reported as spammer. Try customizing your replies so people see you as a help other than someone sending the same message- remember others can see your @ replies. If they come to your page to see what you have been tweeting about and see the same reply to everyone they will report your account. Hope this helps.

  • Yes, you want to start off slow. Use autoDM only after someone follows you, but do not continuously spam DM's to your list of twitter followers.

I actually never send DM's unless it's to a single person, or automatically when they initially follow me. If you want to stay in the clear... Don't DM your whole list!!!

I think it`s important thing with twitter is following not only normal people but targeted people who are interesting in what you twit , maybe someone reported you as a spammer or block you

You should build up some followers the old fashioned way. Don't try to make so many posts to people who aren't even on your list. It's cool to make multiple posts per day, but you may want to scale it down so that it doesn't get out of hand... (ie: getting your twitter account suspended)

Also make sure you don't tweet anything before verifying your email address. I had a twitter account suspended after a single tweet because I didn't first verify the email used to register the account.

The potential in Twitter is huge but only if you use it like it's supposed to be used - as a social network. So go back there and BE social. Don't spam people. Quit tweeting about you (or your stuff) all the time and find time to actually Re-tweet other people's stuff. Tweet messages that are funny, informational, news-worthy and NOT about you. Well, not much about you anyway.

you can send 1000 tweets a day, however this is broken into smaller segments per hour, also if you post links in your tweets all then time twitter will not be to happy, if its a new account then be carful home many people you add and how much you post until you have had the account for a while at least.

As deanomagic stated, you can do 1000 tweets per day. Most of my accounts do 100-200 per day. However, a lot of them are 2-3 years old and I am not growing my followers list actively. nowadays, I mainly use twitter for traffic to great blog posts my followers would like.

I try and engage with my followers before hitting them up with a lot of links and keep my tweets with links in on a 1 to 3 ratio and most of my links go to my blogs.

Number of tweets could not be an issue as there are several users who tweet more than 50 times but yes if you are mentioning someone who doesn't follows you then that could considered as spamming as you are forcibly doing something which the receivers might not like. Try to get followers and use hash tags to get your tweets visited and read. Also, as per said by 'InWait' chances of this is strong that someone has reported about you.
