How much does it usually cost to outsource 5 niche affiliate websites to autopilot status?

I'm setting out my long term plan and wish to know what the minimum average cost would be to outsource a 5 sites to autpilot status (each site earning $200 per month)?

    affiliate sites?

Depends on how you get the traffic. If each is getting $200/mo you have to plan carefully

It's not clear what you mean by "outsource a 5 sites to autpilot status". What excatly do you want on autopilot - sites creation, content update, link buidling etc.?

Or do you want someone to sell you 5 sites that're already making $200/month each?

    I create the 5 sites.
I handle the startup - do seo, start backlinking, write initial content.
Then I need someone to run them for me (making it autopilot). I'm assuming that would an independent team per site, consisting of a link-builder and content writer or one person who does both (if that's advisable)?

You can of course outsource both linkbuilding and content creation to one firm (although I'd do it separately), but I doubt anyone can guarantee you that you site(s) will be making $200/month in a certain # of months. Bear in mind, that on top of SEO and content, your sites need to be monetised properly as well and that's a whole separate issue.

I think you should start just with 1 website, especially if you are getting started. What you'll learn from that one website can be duplicated to the other 4 websites much faster and more efficiently.

My short term plan is focus on 1 website. Then start a 2nd one, then a 3rd, 4th, 5th. Then autpilot & outsource (Mark Ling's strategy). - This is not so much about outsourcing skills, but time. (I mean who wants to run 5 sites all by themselves right?)

Long term, is to do this until I reach my target income.

P.s. I can't read that Are You Running Many Websites All By Yourself? | Double Time Today article because I'm not in debt and it tells me not to continue.

I own a few niche/affiliate sites which are currently ranking well in Google. I think your plan of setting up each site one at a time is definitely the way to go otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of half-finished sites that you are sick of working on.

A few tips from my own experience:

        1. Content is all about quality, not quantity. If you can have both then you are drastically improving your chances of success.

        2. BUILD LISTS! If you aren't building lists from your niche sites then you're probably leaving some easy money on the table.

        3. If you are building your sites to a set formula in WP (specific plugins etc) then consider buying a WP cloner type of software to save time on each new site.

        4. Be careful who you outsource your backlinking to, there are a lot of cowboys out there. There are currently some very good backlinking WSO's available, check them out. They could save you a lot of time and money.

Finally, make sure your KW research is strong. If it isn't then you can outsource all you want but you'll struggle to hit your financial targets.

        Best of luck,

        Nadim.

we have several niche sites we outsource each month. What you have to be careful of is over stepping the mark. What I mean is start off small, and ream your way up as your income increases.

If you are outsourcing and not making money, then something is wrong, stop and work out what went wrong and fix it up. Make sure the money coming in, is more than the money going out. That is your number one goal.

Now I know reading you will be saying, yeah, yeah I already knew that. But trust me, when you get going, this will have a whole different meaning to you.

Start off small and then work your way up. That is how we did it. Takes time and you will learn lots of stuff along the way.

Depends if you want per job it can run between 10-20 bucks for a backlinking effort..

I think you can hire some one full term for $200- $250 who can take care of content creation for additioanl links to web 2 properties and improve your social media presence.. and you can manage more than 5 site in case you go this route

So you're saying for one term, it's reasonable to expect to hire one person to fully manage all 5 sites for a total wage of 250 USD?
How long is a full term? 3 months?

  • It's pretty tough to say without seeing the sites, but I'd say you can pay someone in the Philippines $300 a month to manage your sites. Whether or not they would make $200 a month is a different question. You could also find that you don't need to pay someone full time i.e. They could work half a month on them etc.
