Created my site, optimize it, now what?

Hey guys, I just finished creating and optimizing my niche site.

I have an almost exact name domain relating to my niche, keyword etc.
I just really don't know what to do at this point. I created this site yesterday, and I have 2 unique articles relating to my niche on the site. Should I keep creating more content? Backlinking?

On analytics, it shows a few hits from organic traffic, which is a good sign.

I would appreciate your feedback!

    Both.....

    Make fresh content....and syndicate it.

If you are backlinking for SEO purposes....keep at it.

    Regards

Continue to add unique content and create backlinks. Submit your articles to articles directories.
After you get visitors, you should monetize it : Adsense , Amazon , Clickbank , CPA etc .
Try to rank it because this is your target !

If you rank it = you get UV's = You make money !!

    Good Luck !

2 articles is nothing. You need to keep regularly adding more content, and building backlinks.

      Now the work actually begins.

I've found that keywords in the URL are not nearly as powerful as they used to be. Don't count on those at all to drive traffic, you have to work it for a long time.

My suggestion is to have at least 5 x 750+ articles on your website. Two articles is not enough. Then, if you haven't done so yet, put social buttons on your site for sharing and also for visiting your profile so that they can follow you.

Focus on quality and not quantity in backlinks. Articles with contextual backlinks are great. And please never make non-relevant balcklinks to your site (also the anchor text should be relevant).

Constantly build upon what you already have. And DO the SOCIAL NETWORK PART.

Backlink it and promote it. That's 95% of the success.

You should dedicate the same amount of time to both creating more content and backlinking everyday. As in 1 hour of writing an article, 1 hour creating backlinks by syndicating content, repurposing your content, submitting to directories, and other link building methods.

Keep adding more content, then link each posts to each other with specific keywords. Create some content first - lets say 20 articles, then start building backlinks. The content has to be of a value... you can use the following structure:

What this article is all about?
Why is important to read this article?
How to do "x" that's described on the article?
What if there are some alternative ways to deal with "x?"

*By "x" I mean the main topic or keyword of your article.

Definitely continue creating additional articles of original content. Make an investment in social media and take the time to engage the social media participants. Being active in this arena can bring attention (visits) to your site quickly.

Congrats on making it as far as you have! Now continue to press on toward your end goal for the site.

    Good luck.

Now work on getting traffic. Keep creating content for your site, create content for the article directories, start an affiliate program, advertise, start a blog, and do whatever you can to bring more exposure to your website. Just don't give up if things are going slow for you.

    Keep creating more content

Share your content on social bookmarking websites

Have a facebook fanpage and link it with your posts, get some fans on the fanpage so that more people view your content and share/like it

Link your twitter with your fanpage so that your posts are also shown on your twitter a/c

build more twitter followers to get your posts retweeted more often

Do write guest posts on other blogs to get some backlinks and more traffic !

    hope these help
