Why "broken" sites convert
Saw this yesterday, and thought that it was an interesting look into why "broken" sites (bad grammar, misspelling, chaotic organization, etc) work. While I've heard some propose the idea that the reason the user will click on an ad on such a page is to escape the page, this blog post proposses that, all those errors for the reader to concentrate more, which forces them to see the ads their brain would normally automatically filter out.
