Vendor needs help: Does this affiliate look okay?

I'm a fairly new vendor to Clickbanck, and someone contacted me (by email) about promoting my products. The person asked me to send him a sample of one or two items (which I did). Then he wrote me back and asked my permission to create a review video of my product, which he would use on his website to help promote the sale.

From what I can see, the request sounds legitimate, and the person seems like a nice guy.

But then, I'm a newbie at this. Are there any pitfalls / dangers I should know about when dealing directly with affiliates like this?

As long as he is sending you the traffic via clickbank you should be ok.

I would strongly recommend that you view the review video before he publishes it on his site so you make sure the claims in it are true and not distorted.

    Hope this helps

Thanks, Chris.....I'll be sure to check out the affiliate's video.
Is it common for for vendors and affiliates to communicate with each other like this -- outside of ClickBank?

I've had a number of affiliates contact me on my contact email asking questions.

Do you have a decent affiliate page?

That may reduce the number of emails you do get..

No man. Why do you think people are there to rip you off or something or to take advantage of you? Clickbank makes things automatic, but this does not forbid you from talking to affiliates who like what you have. Help each other out :-)
