Help prioritizing for my website please!
Before my break I was doing some back-link building. I didn't get too much done, but I have noticed myself ranking in the double digits for many of my keywords. As a first question: Which keywords should I focus on? I have found three-word, four-word, and five-word long all with low competition. Many of them encompassing similar results. For example, I was selling something called "Master Dog" I'd see keywords "master dog review" and "master dog book review". Which one would I pick?
Of course, as a second question: Should I be back-linking yet? I really don't know if my monetization efforts are appropriate (couple of square ad's + call to action). Furthermore, I don't even know if my articles are rich enough to convert a sale. I am considering hiring an E-lancer to beef up some of my articles, but I don't know if that is a wise investment at this early stage. How do you guys even know if your articles are "good enough"?
Thirdly: Should I be writing more articles? I still have a fat list of potential keywords that I believe are worthwhile based on my research. My question is, should I simply put back-linking aside and continue writing articles. On top of that, Should I be re-writing those articles as well and submitting them to my Squidoo page?
Sorry for the sporadic questions. Hopefully you can catch them all. Fundamentally, I think my issue is one of prioritization. I am seeing all of these mountains in the distance and IDK which one to climb first. I appreciate any help anyone has to offer. If you could try to tackle each of my questions, that would be great. I am sure you can see how confused I am based on my writing. THANKS!
