Google Webmaster, Should I or Shouldn't I

So, adding your sites into Google gives them the right to not only check in on you from time to time, but also see what sites you own. My thing is this.. If I continue to add all my sites into google webmaster under one account, and for whatever reason ever got a site banned, would the whole account and all sites get banned?

Should I continue to add sites into google webmaster, or does it not matter? do I need to create a separate gmail/username for every site I put up (putting up lots) so they have no idea what sites I own and what sites they don't? I have a new site I'm putting up that's already in Google (site:url.com) but not yet in my webmaster.. do i have to put it in webmaster to help myself rank?

Hope this question was clear.. thanks for anyone's assistance in advance.

It won't effect other sites.... As you can see sometimes google doesn't block your adsense account for violating TOS but disable the ad codes you are using on that site same is the case with Google Webmasters.....

      Life After AdSense Banning

In the unfortunate circumstance that you do get banned by Google AdSense, here are some resources of what you can do to get reinstated.
      • Google AdSense disabled account FAQ.
      • What to do when you're kicked out of Adsense from Webmaster World.
      • How to respond to a banned Google AdSense account notice from SEOpedia
      Just google that.

All of them seem to require a lot of work and some luck as well, so it is best to just keep a careful watch of Google's TOS and program policies.

Theoretically, it shouldn't! But considering google's strictness and approach you are likely to be flagged on their internal systems!

They seem to be somewhat more tolerant these days, they used to block your ad-sense account and ban you in case of a breach, nowadays sometime they block certain URL's and allow you to continue. So if all of your websites are clear with google with nothing "grey" going on, yes putting them together might even help you

If you have grey shaded stuff going on here and there, you might be better of isolating them!

    Best of Luck

they will not deindex all your sites if only one is violating their TOS..

adsense however is different, they ban by account, not websites.. so if you use 1 adsense be careful.

g webmaster and g analytics is ok

off course you care about Google Webmaster Tools. submitting your url to webmaster tools ensure your website SEO behavior, i mean you can see how Google sees your website? and you have a chance to improve your website SEO issue

That was the reason for my original question. I want to use Webmaster for just this reason! Now understanding it sometimes is a different story when your target keyword say is dog food and the most popular entries are dog, food, (but never dog food), and dog crap.. Google and I have a love/hate relationship.

Somehow my original question jumped ship and became an Adsense topic which wasn't my original intent.

My fear was if I added all my sites under one Google account to the webmaster of Google, I'd have something to fear if a site or two ever got banned. I'm not necessarily doing anything blackhat per say, but I am not saying I'm not opposed nor haven't tried it either :-) I was just wondering on a ranking standpoint; having too many sites ranked # 1 in one Google account shows you're trying to manipulate the stats regardless of your keywords being completely different topics.. But, it seems everyone is in compliance that with Webmaster it's a site by site ban or relationship and has no affect on other sites or their rankings..

Going back to Adsene.. even if you have a different Adsense account for every 10, 20, or 50 websites (just in case!), with all those sites under one webmaster account, Google could then nail all the websites because they know you own them all..

Interesting discussion.. Thank you all thus far for your responses. They have been very helpful.
