Hello,

I have spent almost two years to finding out what best work for SEO. Invested thousands $ just for learning it out and did many experiments. Lock myself in the room with only pc, books and internet connection. Barely i didnt interact with real human in that time.

Now, i believe i'm ready to roll to become a SEO professional. I have two clients sites that rank well using my own SEO methods even they are in competitive keywords. One of them in hosting niche and another one in home based business niche.

So far, i'm working alone because i can't afford to hire frelancers to help my works. Spend only almost three hours for sleep.

So, regarding my SEO skill and the condition above, would anyone recommend what should i do? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Sorry for my bad english since i live in non english native speaking country.

Thanks,
AKS

Depends on what you want, it seems like you want to be a SEO professional providing your services to clients. I would recommend determining which type of client you would target, obviously it's more lucrative to go after bigger companies than start ups. But it can also be harder to get your foot in the door.

Ask your current clients if they can provide you with testimonials. That will help you land new clients. I would recommend setting up a website to showcase your services, along with testimonials, contact info, and a photo of yourself (not necessary but helps).

As far as not being able to outsource, try to get paid upfront. With SEO I wouldn't even accept a job unless it was paid upfront. Once you get paid you can use those funds to hire freelancers and keep a profit. That way you're sort of like a SEO manager while you pay others to do the time-consuming tasks.

If you have trouble finding work you can also look on oDesk. I've had a lot of success with the site. Also ask your current clients if they can refer anyone and in exchange you'll pay them a referral fee.

      Good information here!

Yes as you begin to create an income use this to plough back into your business and hire some outsourcing help. I too use oDesk a lot and its very good.

You could be up and running with a team of outsourcers in no time!

If your SEO is that good, build some Niche sites and Affiliate sites and then use your SEO skills to get top rankings and bring in lots of money to fund your SEO business.

Thanks Dan and Paul for your reply.

Dan, mostly i agree with your ideas above except for being paid upfront. Since its kind of hard for me to convince them. For your information, my previous clients paid half upfront then spread the payments until the job finished. Creating website with testimonials is great idea tho.

Paul, yes that ideas is very good. However, in my opinion that activities will make my time and energy not focus on selling SEO service business. Furthermore, before i make money with that Niche sites and Affiliate sites, I would certainly spend more money for it. Because getting that sites rank well in search engines (that is my skill) doesn't mean i will earn some nice sales, do you? It require another skills that not my skill already.

I firstly suggest that you get some sleep. You don't need to work that many hours and if you feel you do, some of it is probably unproductive. You can't possibly be productive for that many hours.

What you could do to hire a freelancer is to find more clients. It's a bit risky, but if you find more clients it means more money at the beginning even if you are paid only half up front. From that money hire someone from Philippines for $300 full time/month and you can split the work if your outsourcer has too much work.

It's a hard decision, but if you want to get more sleep and feel better, risk it. Hope it helps

I believe the content is still king... so outsource what you can't do, and keep what you can do. Time is $$$.

Well, I'd think your best option at this initial level is to make a name for yourself on a site like Fiverr where a lot of people demand the services of SEO experts. If you truly are an expert, you have the opportunity to earn a decent amount of money on that site, and more importantly, get long term clients which is where the real money is.

Also, even though others have mentioned it, I feel a need to do the same. You do not need to cut down on your sleep to succeed. You must please your body in order to make the most of your mind. Never forget that!

I think your idea of marketing is slightly different to mine.

Marketing is not about tricking and lying to people.

It is about helping people and improving their lives.

I wouldn't like to be one of your clients.

        Sorry.
