So with Cb you add your product get the link for affiliates to directly hit your sales page.. button linked to cb cart

but say later down the road on you want to test sending traffic to an optin squeeze to get some free content first to help their buying decision, which can convert better than just hitting the sales page first..

how do you handle it?

all the aff links are pointing direct to the sales page ...

do you set up a redirect from the original sales page to a squeeze then after they've seen the free content point them onwards to a clone of the sales page or is that a no go..? thanks

No need for a cloned sales page.

Just set the Hoplink Target URL in your ClickBank account to that of the squeeze page.

(Existing affiliates though may not be happy about the introduction of a squeeze page)

Ok thanks, so new cb affiliates can use the new link and see where it goes when they check me out but those already with the old link will now also be sending people to the squeeze too?

Or can you have 2 links
1 to sale and 1 to squeeze and let people choose?

So I can mention those options on my aff sign up page and also email those existing affiliates who are on my list?

ClickBank only allows one target page
      for your hoplink.

There are ways around this using scripts
or an affiliate management tool such as
      easyClickMate

By giving your affiliates a choice as to which page they want to send their traffic to.

Otherwise you lose nearly all the serious, professional affiliates (the ones you value most? You know: the very small percentage of your affiliates who produce about 95% of the sales?), almost none of whom will be willing to send their traffic to your squeeze page, for all the reasons discussed at such length and in such detail in all the threads like this one: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...oduct-opt.html

We're already building our own lists. Why would we want you adding our subscribers on to your list before they've bought anything?! We can also make them convert better, just like you can. We also have other stuff to promote, just like you do. We'd rather promote instead the product of a vendor who doesn't give us that problem, thanks (or at least one who gives us a way out of it, too, by offering us a choice of two pages - as many vendors do).
