I am new to the online market.
And pls anyone suggest a method to increase the traffic for our Affiliated links(Click Bank)

    To increase your traffic you could:
    1. Upload videos to YouTube
    2. Submit your website to social bookmarking sites
    3. Write articles on your topic and submit them to article directories
    4. Rank higher in the search engines
    5. Pay for advertisements such as ad words
    6. create a fan page on Facebook
    7. Go on forums and post you website in the link


    That's all there is to it really, takes time and effort. There is no magic wand to getting traffic all you have to do is keep building and building,

    Traffic generation is (at least to me) an art form. You need to do it right so that you can generate the traffic that you want. There are people who will do it for you, for a fee. The problem in my eyes then is targeted traffic. After all that is what you are looking for.

    Here is how I like to get more traffic.

    Blog commenting, forum posting, article marketing. The thing to remember is that affiliate marketing is a job. It is not something that you can set and forget. You need to get up, work everyday. To make it easier you can outsource a lot of the work.

    If you use blog commenting, forum posting, and article marketing you will increase your ranking in the search engines and then you will start to get targeted traffic. It is not going to happen overnight. I am not even sure that there is a way to get traffic to your site overnight.

    you need to set your business apart from others. You need to establish what makes you and what you offer better from others. What do you offer that sets you apart from other businesses?     Create an exciting presence on Facebook and gather large numbers of people who are interested in your niche. Once you get their respect etc, you can post a link to your website and once they visit, the chances of getting converted traffic (into actual sales) increases exponentially. Besides using social media, you can try using basic search engine optimization techniques so that you rank higher on search engines and you get more natural traffic for a long period of time.

    1. Video marketing (HOT!)
    2. Article marketing
    3. Press release marketing
    4. Social bookmarking
    5. Blog comments

    You could do PPC advertising. Just make sure you can break even at the very least - since you cannot predict the lifetime value of a customer at this point - since you have absolutely no customers right now.

    Post on Youtube, post on relevant forums, do article marketing definitely, and develop a good social marketing strategy. If you want to see results quick, start with Twitter and fill everything out there.

    Bulls eye gvannorman! It is indeed an art and that is the only thing that is giving all the affiliates, online business persons sleepless nites.

    But the best option would be to participate in niche based sites, blogs, forums etc. You can use the social media also quite effectively for it.

    As far as the traffic is concerned there is not quickfire method of tenchnique.. Just keep on working towards the betterment (both Off-page and content/product of the site)... and you are going to have the traffic. Remember dont fall prey to the zillions of false traffic claiming techniques out there.. I hope this will help!

    For me personally YouTube is king.

    Make a good viral video, promote it a bit and you will be making visits.

    I find someone who has a very popular video in my niche and there is no link in the description, and offer him money to put link to my blog in video description.

    It is not easy and it is time consuming, but it's worth it. Trust me.

    A great way to get your affiliate links out is to use the search feature on Twitter and type in social buying keywords. For instance, if I were trying to sell a work from home affiliate program, I'd type in "lost my job" or "i need a job" or "hate my job" into the twitter search field.

    This method is great because it taps into the social power of twitter, and connects you with people who are hungry for what you're offering. Make sure you use the " " when you type your keyword.

    Also, you've heard people say the money is in the list... you need to offer some value for free before you try to sell something. So build either a free video or e-book around your offer, and setup a landing page with an email opt-in box, and offer something free first. You can find good PLR content if you just search on Google for whatever type of offer you're trying to promote and add PLR.

    Basically there are 2 type of traffic methods
    1. Free Traffic
    2. Paid Traffic

    - Free Traffic
    There are a lot of free traffic that you can use
    1. Video marketing
    2. Article Marketing
    3. Forum Marketing
    4. SEO
    5. Social Media Marketing
    6. Blog Commenting

    Free Traffic is a long term traffic method, so you must be patient to see the result

    - Paid Traffic
    Or you can use paid traffic like
    1. PPV
    2. PPC
    3. Solo ad

    Paid Traffic is a short term traffic method, you can see the result instantly but it sure cost you more money

    I suggest you master one free traffic and after you seeing some result invest the money to the paid traffic, get focus on one -two traffic method, master it and then you can start another traffic method.

    So many ways to make Free IM it really only needs hard work and reading so I advice you work work and you will have success.The sites I have for 1 of the niches actually satisfy me now with only Free marketing though if you have money invest into paid IM.

    My suggestion is video. I believe video works the best and builds credibility. Also think about syndication. Find 10 top people in your market and connect with them. I know some of them won`t respond back to you, but some will. Connect with them, be affiliate for them, and they will be an affiliate for you. this way you can build your own mastermind and build a name for your self.

    There are lots of ways to get traffic. For affiliate products, writing a report with a few links (not too many) to your affiliate product, saving it as a .PDF and giving it away is a great way to get affiliate sales.

      Offline promotions have been very effective; advertising Clickbank/Amazon products in relevant newspapers, magazines, newsletters, trade journals, direct mail etc are comparatively inexpensive methods. Consider also article syndication within these publications for free and highly targeted exposure. Magazines in particular can generate traffic for years, and most of them also have online components for additional traffic and backlinks.

    I have done a lot of SEO work. Took a while but it certainly helps. I focused on article writing and link building.

    Video marketing has been very good for me. Bang out short videos and do a little SEO for these videos on youtube.

    And I do a lot of PayPerClick advertising.

    remember it is not about just getting traffic.

    As some have hinted, its about going to the places your customers is most likely hanging out. Do not wait for them to come to you. You must indeed go to them. And put your well written copy and ads infront of them. Infact, on many occasions if you have a hungry niches, and you have targeted them well, you only have to do a half assed job with your ads, and you will get very GOOD RESULTS. The reason is because, the people you are targeting HAVE money, They ARE PASSIONATE about the subject and probably already have their credit cards half sticking out of their wallets.

    Traffic is such a big topic. But in general there's two types - paid and free. Paid traffic is instant, this is PPC, Facebook ads. Free traffic takes time, this includes article marketing, video marketing, forum marketing. Which one you choose depends on whether you are willing to invest in time or money,
