Why is my Image Avatar not displaying?

Hey gang,

I've uploaded an image in my profile that meets the specs required by the Warrior Forum yet it's not appearing next to any of my posts. Any ideas why?

    Hi Glen,

    I saw your post hanging around looking all lonesome so I thought I'd try and help out.

    There are two places to add a photo and this might be the problem (it caught me out at first.)

    1) User control panel> your details > edit avatar

    is the one which should show up next to your post

    2) User control panel> your details > edit profile picture

    is one which only shows up on your profile

    So - check that you have uploaded it in 1), not 2)

    If you have, and it still doesn't show and it is 80x80 and not bigger than 50kb then I'm afraid I have no idea.

      Roger,

      I believe the max is 19.5 kb althought the 80px by 80px is correct.

      I know this because when I tried to load my avatar with a real picture it kept bumping it out. Appearently, there is enough of the ghost of my ego in any picture I take that even in 80x80 I still go over the limit. :p

      Go figure...

    I don't see any avatars on the forum, except when I check out a Warrior's public profile.

    This is my 18th post.

    I've complied with the requirements for the profile pic (150 by 150 pixels or 100.0 KB, whichever is smaller), and avatar (80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB, whichever is smaller).

    I'm re-uploading them, then perhaps I'll send a ticket to Support.

      Julian - ON your "user CP" in the read bar above - go into "edit options" - then scroll down to "display options" and click the avatar box.

    Did you check the size of your image? Maybe that's got something to do with it. I think I had this problem when I first started on here.
