Q. What is the highest # (not $) of sales you have ever made in one day?

Q. How many websites did you use to generate that number?
#daily #totals

If your not talking dollars, I have made thousands of them in one day. I am counting free reports or ebooks that was sent through lists and jv's.

P.S. I count free as a sale. Most of my customers come from the free items they take or download or read from me.

$2 in adsense from 1 site.

      Then it got sandboxed.

Other than that... about $1000 in debt... still chugging away

Have you been spending all that money on PPC or did you buy something else?

        • Sales in a day I think about 20 or so. This came from about 3 of my sites.

It doesn't mean anything though if there isn't a dollar value attached though. I'd rather have 1 $1,000 sale then 20 $10 dollar sales

The general rule is that you want to make the most money for your efforts but that is based on the product you are selling and the money each sale generates. Being able to generate many sales is key, even before you find the product that pays the best. Some people never find that product, some do.

I learned to get good solid leads and targeted hits and more importantly, just how I got them, then I found the products...as that is the information I did not have on day one and new products were coming out all the time. then when different affiliate programs started popping up, I just had to swap the product in that niche to up my commissions.

I don't know if it would have worked out in reverse as there were not that many products or programs to choose from in the 90's, not many at all. Mostly you found someone with a site selling something and they took you on and you re-sold from another site with your own resale code or coupons with your tracker and then later on ran through your own merch account.

Doesn't matter what you offer, matters if you have great material and the list is relevant to the product.

        I do mainly teaching reports.
How to sell on fiverr, craigslist, ebay, How to build a niche blog, things like that, I like to target the newby crowd as they grow up and make other sales to my spinoffs.

Ok, now this is solid stuff, How-To's are always hot and once people try it and get results, the avalanche of sales starts. Thanks for the info.

I don't keep track of that, but I can tell you that you don't necessarily need a lot of websites to do a large number of sales or make a lot of money in a day, especially if you are participating in a product launch. One niche site in a large, profitable niche where there are lots of products to promote is all you need to make good money online. Your success really comes to down to things: how much targeted traffic your site gets and how well your stuff converts into sales.

That's peanuts compared to what a lot of internet marketers make.

Remember now, we are talking about the number of sales, not the amount but if you are pulling down 3600 per day, you are definitely doing well and I say to you "nice job".

WOW! 1 Sale and over 3K. That is what I'm talking about. I've sold GOLD and not made that in one hit. Way to go, way - to - go...

Ok, I have to ask you this "What was the product?"

Seriously, that is about the best 1 site, 1 sale hit I have heard of and I have been around (way around). My best hit for 1/1 was --> A Car. Sold a Merc at 102,500 USD and my cut was 2.5%.

I think for me the highest that was pure profit was around $550 which all of it came from one site.

It is a good boost when you get way above your average daily earnings. It gives you more motivation to keep going and work even harder.

Thats right, getting paid feels good when you are on your own. I used to try and stay above $35 USD per hour during my "at work hours" and above $10 per hour during my "sleep time". That was back in the late 90's and early 0's but that got pretty hard after Yahoo got huge and Google came along, then things started changing up often. Amazon wasn't really setup as it is now so the whole affiliate concept was kinda sketchy at best. Blue Mountain and Excite went bust and AltaVista burned out too so the landscape changed and we all had to change up. I made the switch to single sale / e-com + drop ships on Ebay to get the ball rolling again but I remember a lot of folks simply packed it up for good and went into e-books and .pdf's when Paypal came along.

The numbers of sales you folks are getting these days are much better than we used to get in years past. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely setup with Amazon and drop a few hundred sites on my niche's. Maybe I could have gotten some daily $550 action too.

      Very motivational indeed.

Though i like the context of the OP, my thoughts are more along the lines...of what type of CONSISTENT Income do you have...

Does your income ebb and flow like the tides of change or do you consistently generate income week in and week out. Does it matter whether your working, sleeping or playing?

Are you scaling your business? Websites? or Affiliate Promotion / Products?

Are you better off now than 30 days ago.... 12 weeks ago... 1 year ago , 3 years ago or longer?

And my Favorite... Are you smarter now today than yesterday? Are you continually working on your own personal business education, investing in the #1 Commodity - Ding you guessed it YODA - YOURSELF!!!

So many marketers are getting caught up in what is happening right now rather than tracking the metrics of their own self progression. If we tracked our personal growth the way we track everything else Money would not be an ISSUE... Just sayin....

Now with that being said... My best day was 785 sales of a WSO... and since we publish one WSO a year... we don't make a living off of them like some people do...we are out in the trenches working on growing our business and PERSONAL EDUCATION...

So you are a mentor type. Ok, I see, I see.

I used to work with Mort T from Motorola, back when we were both at Dell (he was my superior by a long shot) and he was all about "if you cant measure it, you cant manage it". Now, while I still have some issues with that I will say, "you do need to know the metrics, so you don't repeat the mistakes".

Yes, you can all them BOTs. i don't rem. the exact numbers but it was some email submit offers which paid me $1.75 per lead. conversion was very very low.

CONSISTENT Income - only 1 i run small membership site for online friends.
if i don't work, money flow stops. i have nothing on autopilot except one adsense blog which had made $12 in 2 months, spent 2 hours for setup and getting traffic from real twitter profile. it's auto tweet my blog posts and new followers keep visiting my blog and gets some clicks. blog is about quit smoking with around 20 unique articles written by me.

i almost has stopped affiliate promotions as it dies today or tomorrow. so i don't feel like spending my time with affiliate. Yes, i am scaling my offline business then my online earnings. now started a offline company still some work are left to do but i am reaching at it.

absolutely, i am better now as person and IM knowledge too.
i learnt most of the stuff from some IM guru's like Armond Morin (my fav. one)
and some others as well. and i am still learning to be good at sharing my knowledge with others.

i have made many e-books (never made any videos tutorials with voice over thats what my big next thing to do ) but shared e-books with my all online friends.

    thats all.

The most sales I generated in one day was over 1,000. I did a product launch for a software which had a $1 trail and got nearly 1,000 sales. The rest of the sales (about 50) were from other products that were already selling online as well as 2 e-commerce sites I own.

      OVER 1000 SALES!!!

That's got to be a record for 1 day, even if it was $1 per.
What did the numbers look like after 2 weeks?
Did you lose a large amount of momentum or not?
Were those hits from Google or a combination of sources?
