Pseudo-success with twitter

I'm pretty new at IM and I am very excited because for the first time I have a response that I consider good enough to create some kind of wealth ...
4 days ago on twitter I created an account in which share interesting facts in Spanish... Today I got to 200 followers... My follower base is growing about 10% a day ... If it continues with this growth rate to about the middle of February I will have arround 2000 followers...

How do you think I can monetize this number of followers?

I have tried MyLikes and I got approximatly a 1% click rate... Do you thik this is good? Or should I try something else?

    Hola Alejandro,
I'm no twitter expert although I have a couple of accounts with about 10,000 followers between them. In my experience offers via twitter often get lost in the 'noise'. I think you'll do better if you can offer something (a short report maybe) to get people onto your own list. Once on your list you should convert better with a bit of testing or simply asking your list what they'd like from you (in terms of offers).

Thanks Rich, this is very intresting... Since this is a Twitter account in which I tweer random facts I believe that this will be better with another account based in only one topic...

      Thanks again, very helpfull

A Twitter account with random content will be really hard to monetize. Your time is probably better spent elsewhere.

The only idea I can think of is:
        1. Build as many Followers as possible.
        2. Sell promotional Tweets through Fiverr.

So, instead of trying to monetize your Followers, you make money from people who think it's great to blast their messages out.

Try promoting some affiliate products, CPA offers, etc.

CPA is probably the easiest way to make $ on Twitter though. Just make sure your CPA network allows direct linking on Twitter, otherwise you will need to use a landing page.

If you have a site i'd suggest you try to migrate your twitter followers to that and try to capture contact info i.e- e-mail addresses. I would suggest using Twitter as a place to fish for clients but it's pretty difficult to just make money from them on twitter. Especially since even if the 2k are "real" as one person mentioned it's all white noise when the following gets big enough.

For example i have 10k followers and if i leave the feed open for a few minutes i won't be able to catch up so if you put your offer in there somewhere chances are i missed it and will continue to miss it for quite a while so a follower base of 2k will feel pretty weak when you take into account you 1 of many tweeting to the same 2k...
