Made page in WP erased it then made it again now shows page-2?

I made a page in wordpress for example say login. Then I trashed it. Then I made it again but now the url shows hxxtp://xxx.com/login-2/ I tried to change it by editing it on the page url but it wont let me. How can I change it so that it goes mysite.com/login/ ?

    I fixed it...i did that but it wouldnt let me change it like that I had to delete my pages that were in the trash first!

    The database will actually back up your site sometimes. I was shooting a screen capture video on how to install wordpress. I was deleting files from a domain and was not in that domains folder but the main folder, I caught it but only after alot of my sites went down.

    I emailed hostgator and had them put the back up of my site they had back on there. It was an 8 day old backup. When they did the backup, everything I had done to my wordpress sites were still there even though I did it after the backup. Only things that werent there were pics and zipped files.

    I really like that feature of wp.
