Entertaining my list of subscribers

I am slowing growing my list of subscribers.

I have a squeeze page on the front page and then the OTO on the second page.
I give a free ebook related to my product when they are on the squeeze page and then I have them view my OTO.

I'm not new to internet marketing, just new to this list building part.

While my list is building, how do I keep my early subscribers entertained until I start promoting affiliate offers? Have a simple blueprint for me?

    A blue print would be good, but how about finding some articles related to your niche and putting them in your responder sequence, this will build rapport and generosity, also create a video or 2 to build trust.

      My OTO was doing well prior to the squeeze page. I just implemented the squeeze page on Friday, so it's only been a few days and my sales vary so much day to day that I wont' be able to determine the new sales volume until later this week.

      That's exactly what I've been doing. All the lists that I am part of, it seems like they immediately start promoting affiliate products. Not really what I want to do.
