Default Looking for a software that can...

Hello Warriors,

I am looking for a software, preferably free, that
can break up text into certain number of words...
something like a text wrapper, but instead of
wrapping (or breaking) up the text by number of
characters, I need it to break up the words by
number of words.

Here's the scenario - I have a huge ton of
text that I want to break up into 2, 3, 4 or so
number of words without doing it manually. Is
there a tool that can scan the entire text and
do this automatically?

Any ideas of any?

A simple PHP script can do this for you on your local PC. You can ask any warrior for help who knows php.

Too bad I don't know php. I found the below script for
free online that can do "close" to what I want, but not
exactly. Problem is that I don't know PHP. Anyone knows
where I can get a script that already does this for free?

The time you're wasting looking for handouts you could either do it manually or, shock gasp and horror, actually pay real money.

I guess you don't put much value on your time?

That's a bit harsh, Bigsofty. You didn't have to say
a word if you don't know where to find what I am
looking for.

How do you plan to cope with some words being much longer than others
making your wrapped text look uneven? Is this a visual thing? or do you
have some other need to wrap the text? This is a fairly trivial text
processing task.

A million thanks to you, Jonathan, yes this will
do what I want. Thanks a million. By the way,
how do I use the "thank you" tool so I can say
thanks to you, . It's people like you that make
the WarriorForum the MAIN place to be in,
not people like Bigsofty who, instead of helping,
just wants to make things more difficult.

If I don't find a free alternative, I will use this
that you recommended. Thanks once again.

Yes, Glenn, I do have special need for this script,
not just for wrapping email messages but for
picking out keywords from a gazillion collection
of text.

To Jon Alexander who PMed me, I couldn't reply
as I don't have enough number of posts to send
PM, so I will reply here:

------

That's interesting, Jon, thanks for replying via PM.
About why I need to do it, I have a gazillion
collection of keywords but I want to pick out
only those with 2 or 3 or 4 words and need this
script for it.

I will be glad if you can give me access to use this
script for free, if possible. If not, then I have to go
with this $27 one recommended by Johnathan.

Thanks once again, Jon and Johnathan and Glenn,
but no thanks to Bigsofty, .

Hi,

Thanks -- actually, just click on the "thanks" button when you see a post (bottom right hand corner of the post, that is how you can 'thank' someone).

Thanks
