Hey

Fellow WFer's.

I am a new internet marketing guy from Nigeria. I have gotten my hands on some materials that discusses about internet marketing that got me interested and I am about hosting a site for a clickbank product I got from cbengine.com But on getting to clickbank's registration page, I got to know that my country NIGERIA is not part of the eligible countries.

Please WF members from Nigeria or else where that have encountered and overcome such restraint should please help me out on what to do to open the account and as well on how to collect the cheques right here in Nigeria.

I'm really counting on you guys.

Thank you.

Hey, sorry if I'ma bit blunt. But you have no chance on getting into this business if you cannot open a Clickbank account, PayPal account, Aweber account, etc. Companies like these and their competitors generally do not allow anyone from Nigeria to open up accounts and you already know why this is.

Yes the big F has nullified our homeland from participating in the sweet arts of internet and eCommerce mastery.

The only way you will be able to get in is if someone over here opens these accounts for you on your behalf. Have a good day. Don't be too upset if these rules were not set then this forum might not have the same reputation and draw as it does today.

    1. Don't bump your thread if no one answers.

    2. If Clickbank does not allow Nigeria then you are out of luck. They have rules for a reason. No offense but the very fact you are trying to get around their rules and do something 'dodgy' is probably one of the reasons why they banned your country in the first place... because it has a big reputation for scammers.

Agreed! Bumping your thread especially as you have not received any answers is not on here.

Firstly he hasn't done anything wrong here. This is the general discussion section within the forum and the last time I checked it was ok to ask a question on anything pertaining to internet marketing.

Secondly to accuse him of doing something dodgy just because he is from a country renowned for fraud is tasteless WillR. What was he trying to do may I ask? Where has he made any special request or anything out o the ordinary? I expected a little more than that from you. Considering I've learned a lot from you here and enjoyed your post.

I guess I'm scam artist too since I'm Nigerian due to my parents heritage.

So asking how he can get around Clickbank's rules and open an account and also cash their cheques in a country that is specifically banned from using Clickbank is not considered dodgy?

I guess we have VERY different opinions on right and wrong then...

He is trying to get around the rules. Everybody here knows that Nigeria is where a lot of online and offline scams originate and that is why these networks have banned the country. All I was simply saying was he is wanting to do something that is the very reason why his country has been banned from networks like this in the first place.

The rules are there for a reason... NOT for people to try and get around.

P.S. I apologize if I did sound a little harsh to the OP in my first post but I was only stating the facts as I see it.

But it seems as though there have been some doing it without knowing anybody over there.

There was a time i heard of GRAPHCARD but some body later said it is no longer reliable.

    Any other alternative?

    Thanks.

The above statement does not indicate anything dodgy. More like just a request for an alternative. Why? Simply because the OP doesn't know any better. Hence my dislike for your use of the term dodgy, within the context you placed it in.

I am not refuting the predicament.

All I'm saying is your use of the term dodgy whilst simultaneously suggesting his inquiry is part of the reason Clickbank removed Nigeria from their books is Wrong.

If I was to open a Clickbank account for one of my family friend in Nigeria. Would that be considered as dodgy?

    Maybe we do....

Can you prove that? Where did you learn that then? Before I give you a history lesson choose your next words carefully (the whole diggs deeper and deeper).

Are you a representative of Clickbank? Do you have a rep other there or something? This statement is ambiguous and holds no merit.

Hi there guys, I am new here on WF so I respect all answers from experienced members such as yourselves. Although I do understand where you are coming from WillR in your accusations of dodgy dealings from Justzoe (rules are put in place for a reason) However just because rules have been made you cannot automatically assume they are fair. There are genuine people in Nigeria who want to make a life using the internet, and because of the corrupt minority who wish to exploit the lawlessness of the internet they are prevented from doing so as I would suggest is the plight of our fellow member Justzoe.
