I got started on Fiverr but I've since left because there's more money to be made elsewhere.

These days I outsource design stuff there though.

If you think big and outside of the box fiverr is very profitable.

The problem is people usually don't think outside of the box and they go off on a "how can I profit from $4 a gig" rants.

Agreed Daniel, to really be an avocate of your product, anyone who is thinking of leveraging fiverr for cash, make sure you read Daniels Fiverr Frenzy Report first.

I read it and it bore my singular business idea that I am working on, and with a bit of elbow grease should bear efforts resulting in at least $10k per month. And this is using ONE of his ideas. Goodness knows what would happen if I started using all of the ideas in there.

Thanks again for this Daniel, PM me if you are curious to know which one I am working on, I would love your advice, experience on the matter!

I just started using them a few weeks ago & have earned some money & have more funds waiting to clear. I'm using it as a launching pad for my writing. I certainly should be making more than I do on there. However, it helps me hone my craft, learn which genres I write the best & get my creations out there.

I agree, if you can get it so you're only spending a few minutes to do a gig, you can certainly make some decent money. Otherwise, it just takes to long to make 5 bucks.

You became $2,244 richer since you joined Fiverr! that is my current fiverr account.

It started out as testing then it took off... after it took off I was a top seller then I got more business... then they added gig extra's with top seller I had 18 gigs going and made sales on all but about 3.

Then one day the gig extras was gone I was still top seller. Still going good.

Then one day Top seller was gone... Slowed down but still going good.

Then I asked support about top seller why I have all these sales and 100% feedback... then top seller was back then gig extra was back.

Then gone again about 3 weeks later I'm still 100% feedback. I emailed again they said it's the content writers they might add you again as top seller just keep doing a good job.

Then they updated to the new look... BAM! all my gigs were gone.

I got two gigs back after asking support they said to re create the others... but the system only allows 20 gigs I got two back so with the 18 I had and the 2 that is 20.

Now it says I can only create 20 gigs... Back to support 2 weeks later nothing... Sales dropped 75% with only 2 gigs.

Back to support they found two more gigs so now today I only have 4 gigs the system thinks I have 20 gigs so can't create any more.

Lost all my feedback got a few back with the last two gigs they found.

I'm still 100% feedback : I have 4 gigs live : can't create any more till they fig out what happen to them.

I'm working on a real life fiverr report if I ever get to it.
not one of the make 10,000 a month on fiverr ya right

Congrats for making that much, again, fiverr is not for everyone, some people can make 1 sale else where that worth couple of thousands while other jobs can pay $4 at a time.

fiverr as other money making money ideas, some work for you some doesn't that doesn't affect them both way. You can see fiverr website is doing pretty well compare to others.

Fiverr reminds me of the "Project Payday" model and the Flippa website. But you can still earn good money with them tho. People are making money on Fiverr everyday.

I've been on Fiverr as an article "rewriter" for nearly a year now, and I am approaching nearly $1600 earned. As you can see, not something to write home about (or would that be rewrite?) However, from that, I have earned a great deal of positive feedback for my work, testimonials in a sense to the quality of my work. I have established working relationships outside of Fiverr with some of my clients who felt I was worth more than $4 a project, and I have developed as a content service provider, especially in the area of deadlines and delivering when promised.

Fiverr is not for everyone, but it can be a training ground or proving ground for several of your ideas.

But unless you have a "system" where your gig can be output several times per hour, don't go leaving your day job -- ever.

If you can use Fiverr as a model for your own business, as suggested elsewhere, now your are talking...

I think Fiverr is a good place to make some extra bucks. If you have some software you use every single day, I don't see a point not making extra $100-$400/month just by putting your gig on Fiverr. It will pay off the expenses for the software and it doesn't take you mach time either to setup a campaign and send the buyer a report of what you've done.

The best and the worst thing is that the sellers and buyers on Fiverr change quickly. So the new sellers get chance to get some orders even without 100% feedback and sales.

I provide Social bookmarking services and made $2000+ but now I am realize with my bad experience with fiverr don't depend on fiverr, when your account will block with any notice.
Many fiverr seller doing more cheaper work in $5..500 social bookmarking for $5 but he get $4. When I start my bookmarking services I charge $35 for 500 bookmarking.

I've made pretty decent money from Fiverr. I do NOT use it to provide labor intensive services though. I also use a variety of ways to significantly boost what my Fiverr customers are worth to me.

I'm quite happy with my results there, but I will admit I consider it to be a gravy portion of my business now.

I have been on fiverr about 2 months now and have generated about $600. I agree with most of the other posts on here that you need to automate out do some tasks that don't take to long. I am working on transitioning away from fiverr and showcasing my skills in other markets. Fiverr allowed me to build a portfolio and work out any kinks in my process. People are willing to overlook the little things when they are only paying $5.

Fiverr is a simply another way to find new customers. I started out using Fiverr to get customers and great testimonials. I've actually made some good money on Fiverr.

But let's get real. You make four dollars for every gig you do. If you can figure out the ways to create mass sales, and be able to duplicate your efforts, doing Fiverr is going to take time.

I've done enough gigs with the high satisfactory rating they just made me a Level 2 Seller
which apparently a feat in itself.

The goal is to pay attention to your gigs, get them done within the timeline you create,
respond quickly and communicate with your customers. Do a good job, make people happy and you WILL make some serious money.

Feel free to search Fiverr and find my gigs under the name moneyroom.

Any questions you need answer to just PM me.

      Good luck.

I have been with fiverr for about a year and earned $244 to be exact,
but I can tell you it was hard hard work, I develop Flash based applications, and I was designing and programming custom made components for my clients but because it was taking a lot of my time for very little money, I drew out all of my earnings and only started accepting multigigs.

However, if you are providing something that you can deliver immediately like an ebook etc then it is worth staying with fiverr, if you are like me making things from scratch to earn 4 dollars at a time, you will soon get bored of it like I did.

Fiverr is a good place to make extra cash. But you need to be creative in a sense that you need to put yourself also in the shoes of potential customer then think if you will be attracted enough to get your service - it really helps.

After trying everything online, and I mean everything, and making very little money. I turned to Fiverr.

In two months, I made $248 writing articles, however, the hours and hours it took me to make that paltry amount was crazy!

And the brain power to keep coming up with interesting things to say about subjects I had no interest in, well, I was ready to shoot myself after two months of this!

And, my thoughts automatically went where they always do. As many others say, I want to BE Fiverr, not work on Fiverr.

    So, I stopped.

Fiverr is a great way to make money. Especially if you are starting out and need the exposure. I have already sold a bunch of gigs. At first no one wanted me. That is because my rep was zero. Start by building up your name. BTW, it is important to have a good rep. That can make or break you. Also, your gig rates must be competitive for you to win.

The trick, like others said, is to find gigs that don't take long to finish, and are in high demand. I don't currently have anything like that, so I suspended my gigs on Fiverr, because I get burnt out writing articles and reviews.

From there you could build a list, you could promote your products, offer services for a higher price etc

    Our secret with fiverr.

Offer a service that is already popular and try to beat the top contender by offer great service, fast service and always go the extra step.

The secret with fiverr is there is no secret. Just have to offer something what everyone wants and needs. And you have to do a proper job and get people give great feedback. Soon as others see massive good feedback the sales will just come.

Partner made $2000 there last month. You need to find something that you can automate, so you can crank it out fast. Writing articles is a huge waste, you will spend 8 hours a day writing unique articles and pocketing maybe $40 on a good day. In contrast you can automate gigs and make triple that.
