My answer is, Stop Auto Blogging.

Google does not like re-hashed content.

Why would you do stuff that Google doesn't like?

I would change your business modal.

Whatever is working for you now has a high chance of
disappearing in the next update.

To risky.

Create killer original content and add value. It's the
only true path to success.

Start your autoblogs off with original content. Buy articles or blog posts if you have to.
After a month or so start introducing scraped content but try to mix multiple sources together in an original way.
Try to make it high quality. Match what you deliver to the likely expectations of the visitor.

Now, stop reading and go do it.

Autoblog is not fine for SEO purposes because Google hates it, but it can be useful for targeted paid traffic methods.

If Google catches you with an autoblog (and they more than likely will)... kiss your adsense income goodbye. The more money you make with it, the more Google will check out your traffic sources and will see how you're making so much money with thousands of your autoblogs. You will be banned.

There is no need to autoblog with Amazon. You need 4-5 product reviews written in an easy conversational manner with links to Amazon. Point is that the visitor must click through to Amazon after reading your review and buy something.

Keep building backlinks to rank your site and continue writing and posting 300-word posts to retain your ranking.

Instead of using a plugin that scrapes content, why not spend your budget more wisely and use a ghost blogging service.

The better ones provide unique SEO content for around 1 cent per word .. cheaper if you pay for x amount of post in advance.

Hi Munsy,

Autoblogs are old story now, they don't get any traffic from google and even if you put them scraping content for one more year they will be same. I guess they might be receiving max 10-20 visits a day, you could get same amount of visitors or probably more if you put down some 5 nicely written unique articles with 700 words each.
Moreover, you may get sued for stealing content PIPA SOPA etc
so better be on your own

Thanks for the post and the info. I too have been playing with autoblogging and it isn't getting much traffic or sales. I combine it with original content. One thing to consider is a facebook page that you can attach you autoblog to. Has anyone tried this with any kind of success?

Yes..Autoblog is dead..My autoblogs are banned several months ago and it made me realize that autoblog is just wasting time..It's true They will give you lots of money at first..but several months later they will disappear..And all your effort to develop your sites will useles...

Spun your content: add additional texts e.g. "customer reviews" from other sources (XML/RSS feeds), and other sort of relevant content like youtube videos etc. Generate relevant comments using various sources etc. And always synonymize the results.

That's correct. I'd say about 90% of them. Most of "autobloggers" are newbies who have no idea what exactly they are doing.

Sadly the days when you could use an autoblogging plugin and reap real benefits in terms of both traffic and revenue have past, it is something that has been discussed many times, and there are some that will say its fine, but usually they have a dog in the hunt, (they are connected with someone that is selling auto blogging software)

So you have to sort of watch out for those guys, they will often come in and make blanket statements about how much money they are making but they refuse to reveal the website they "say" are making them so much money,

Take it from a veteran marketer, who has been developing websites since 1996, the only thing that is constant about creating websites is change.

Everything changes, if you do not or are not, prepared to change along with the times, you will end up with a website that fails to perform, this happens all the time, the truth is that most of the time, the only one making money from an Auto blogging software product is the person selling it, sad but true.

Yes, I'm really related to those you mention above. However, here is just a few wabalizer screens of my own autoblogs (please don't be confused about the Feb stats - the screens were made on Feb 2nd, so that's why the Feb they look abnormally low):

Course I have a lot of autoblogs because having a couple of them mean nothing. However I hope these few screens above will be enough to give the explicit answer: autoblogging has not died and not going to. It's just moved to another higher level. Panda is a smart animal, that has swiped away about 90% of low-quality sh*tty "autoblogs" which were created by newbies who has no idea on what the properly made autoblog is. So if you are not a pro in autoblogging, don't even try it.
People think that duplicated contend is a main problem with Panda. That's wrong on many levels. First of all, the content can be easily spun (not just synonymized but deeply extended). But even non-spun content is not a big deal if your autoblog is really useful for Internet surfers and make them ready to spend a lot of time browsing your posts.
The on site time and low bounce rate are much more important to Panda than uniqueness of your content. This is the main secret of modern autoblogging. Make your resource interesting and Google will love it.

My 2 cents is always spin and rewrite some the intro , some part of the body and the conclusion when using autobloging software, do no post, set up your autobloging software to post the article as a draft then do your final rewriting and tweaking before you publish it. You can always check with copyscape to see how unique the article is before you published. Autobloging are great to generate contents but it is better when you modify them to make them unique to a certain level.

Autoblogs is work and more profitable than any manual bloging or paid articles bloging.
Unique content will be not unique after several minutes.

All you need just promotion of each post,and it can be done via social networks and so on.
Just look at each post as for one page site,you still need some backlinks to get to the top for such keyword.
Of course use silo too.
