2 questions on backlinks

Hi. I have 2 questions on backlinks. The first question is how do I check the amount of backlinks pointing to my site. The second question is how do I know which websites are pointing to my website ? Any answers would be appreciated.

    Thats really the same question, or I'm tired and too many beers and mission something.
    Several software programs will do this for you. ie; seo spyglass ect.
    You can do it though going to alexa.com semrush.com or a slew of other free websites.

    I use a site called backlinkwatch.com. They will show you what links are pointing to your site and the name of the site I think.

    Also you can use Google analytics as far as I remember.

    Don't overstress about how many you have. Rather focus on getting high PR quality backlinks. I'd rather have 30 PR4 backlinks then 500 PR 0 backlinks.
    Focus on that.
