Amazon Associates account disappeared ?

Little bit of a strange one, just wondering if anyone has had experiences with this in the past ?

I run various review websites for Amazon products and I logged in this morning to check my account and it was gone. No email to say I had been suspended / banned - just gone.
I had to re-enter all my details such as websites, information (like I was signing back up). Once completed I got an email saying 'Welcome to the affiliate program' and zero money in the account ? (So basically its all new again)



Not sure if I was suspended or something odd happened.

    Very strange indeed. I don't think that you've been banned because you would still be able to log in with all the previous statistic intact. I was banned from the amazon associates program and I can still log in to see my stats from the dates before they closed my accounts.

    It even says this account is available for historical purposes only.

    So it seems like this is some kind of rare error on amazon's end. I would contact them immediately and see what they can do for you.

    Contacted them erlier and indeed it was a fault there end, they couldnt explain what happened but the accounts been opened again
