Must Read Question if you are an Email Marketer

How do you track which lead bought which product?

I mean if you keep promoting a product to some one who have already bought it, they will opt out.

So far I can't see anyway to do that.

PS: I work as an affiliate

I use automation rules in my autoresponder to move
people who buy from the prospect list onto the
    customer list.

Assuming that they use the same e-mail address for
their initial subscription and their subsquent payment,
    it all happens automatically.

If they use different e-mail addresses for their initial
subscription and subsequenct payment then this
    automation method doesn't work.

I also cross-check I.P. addresses and other details so
that fewer people fall through the cracks.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun

Yes, I know that but I am an affiliate.

I don't have access to that information.

Well, you should have mentioned that extra important
detail in your initial post that I originally replied to.

It's hard to give an accurate answer to a partially
        telepathic post.

          Sorry about that.

Otherwise the question would be so much easier to answer

Wow Shaun, this is impressive. I've not really dug that deep with email marketing, but this looks like something I should definitely setup.
