Hey guys, I'm really hoping that someone can recommend something good because it's driving me nuts. I'm recording Skype interviews but to make (edit) them a bit nicer I bought a course but of course this is based on a Mac with screenflow. I'm now recording both channels separately and I want to edit them side by side into one screen and if possible I want to use overlays to display their name and website. I tried Vegas, I played around with VidBlaster and with Camtasia but all without any luck. Camtasia doesn't allow side-by-side. With Vegas it is possible but this application is quite complicated and I don't feel like studying the application for months to come. So to make a long story short, do any of you know an application that can record 2 channels side-by-side and that has some zoom and overlay options. I hope to hear from you. Cheers Vincent |

Have you looked at Vidblaster? VidBlaster - Video Production at Your Fingertips! - VidBlaster - Video Production at Your Fingertips! Not sure if it works on a Mac, but it has some nice features that might help you accomplish what you are trying to achieve. |

@Robin thanks for your reply. I was hoping that there was an easier solution but maybe I'm making it more difficult that it really is. @I.M.Retired I used it years ago but haven't in quite some time. Back than it was quite buggy but maybe I need to check them out again. And btw, I don't have Mac, I'm working on a windows system. Thanks guys |

Yes, splitscreen. I can record a splitscreen with the skype recorder too but I want to edit them as single channels to add in some effects.
