Site on first page of Google, Cache looks crappy. What does it mean?

Hi all,

I have a site that is on the first page of Google. Just out of curiosity, I clicked on the cache link to see if it told what the Google spiders "saw" when they crawl the site.

I got wondering this because the site is built on Wordpress and the description under the link describe all of the Wordpress stuff rather than a description of the site contents or whatever.

I'm sure these factors are part of the reason that the site isn't ranked higher than it is.

PM me with your thoughts or drop a Skype call to i_mike_murphy and we can walk through it.

I know there is something cool to be learned here.

Thanks
Mike

All this means is that the Google spider crawled your site prior to you having it built the way you would like.

It will take a little time but once you get crawled you will see your changes.

My advice would be to ping google with new content every time you add something.

Also, create a site map and submit the site map to google with google webmaster tools. If you don't know what I am talking about just do a search for Google webmaster tools.
