Google new algo change: position of ads in your site will effect its ranking?

Hey Warriors,

Just wanted to inform you about this:

Google Inc. engineer Matt Cutts said, "Rather than scrolling down the page past a slew of ads, users want to see content right away. So sites that don't have much content "above-the-fold" can be affected by this change. This new algorithmic improvement tends to impact sites where there is only a small amount of visible content above-the-fold or relevant content is persistently pushed down by large blocks of ads".
I have seen many niche providers & adsense themes having ads above the fold. Will you be affected by this? Its better to change it now, just wanted to inform my dear warriors about this change so that your ranking don't slide down due to this algo change.
