How can I make video tutorials for academic tutoring?

I'm looking for some way to write on a sheet of paper and explain what I'm doing while the camera captures it all in real time?

Is there some type of tripod that allows overhead filming?

why not take normal tripod and put it on a table? Add a stool if the height is still not enough.

    • Just use a tilted table and angle the camera over your shoulder similar to this one. You need to experiment with a tripod to get the right height/angle.

Rather than writing it on a sheet of paper why not do it on a white board and film that?

Click on the fiverr link on my signature for a video sales letter which is your words with my voice over, or you could simply do this yourself with Power point and Camtasia.. Not very hard really..

As for what you're asking for exactly just like the guys say up above, get a tripod and put it over your shoulder with your video camera
