Hello WF,

I was wondering how you Amazon affiliates recieve your affiliate commission payments from them? I see they offer three options: Gift Card, direct deposit, and Check payments. Now they do put in a caveat that you will get charged like $15.00 for the use of the check payment option. Is this a one time $15.00 payment, or do they charge $15.00 for every check payment they make to you?

I just just wondering what you mid to high end amazon affiliate earners do to get your commission payments. I was concerned about them charging me some sort of surcharge for them cutting me a physical check.

Just wondering which of the three method of payments you guy that deal with them (Amazon) use.

As I read it, Amazon deducts the check processing fee from EACH check: "We deduct a $15 processing fee from all monthly checks sent to Associates" (source: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...tes/help/t3/a3). However, you can ask them directly through the Associate support email address.

I personally get paid by direct deposit. With monthly payments in the 4-5 figure range, a check would likely be held for additional processing time by my bank. With direct deposit at my bank, there's no holding time on the amount so it is immediately available to me.

The $15 fee is for each check, but if you live outside the US they don't charge the $15 fee because the direct deposit option isn't available.

If you're living outside of US, the $15 processing fee for the cheque is waived.

If you're living in the US, it's better you choose the direct deposit option as the minimum amt required to withdraw from your Amazon a/c is $10 vs $100 for the cheque. Furthermore, you will be charged $15 processing fee if you choose the cheque option.
