Can Alertpay or 2Checkout Be Used To Receive Paypal?Help

I heard that you can use alertpay or 2checkout to receive paypal.

Is this true. For instance, if I was expecting a commission of $700, how will it be sent to either my alertpay or 2CO account to me directly.

Your assistance will be appreciated!

AlertPay cannot be used to accept/receive PayPal payments.

Now 2Checkout does accept/process PayPal payments.

Now, I don't want to hijack your thread at all, but I'm curious about something and I hope you would take the time to answer so I can understand.

So you start off your thread with "I heard that you can use AlertPay or 2Checkout to receive PayPal."

    You "heard that".

Why wouldn't you yourself, considering it's your money at stake, not check with AlertPay.com or 2Checkout.com to find the answer?

There's no hidden motive for me asking, but I'm just personally curious. Why would you take the time to ask here when with the same amount of time it took you to type your question you could have already visited those two sites and got a 100% guaranteed and correct answer?

I'll be frank, I've already contacted 2CO and they said yes but I would have to pay $49 for an account. I really don't mind paying but I don't see how it will work.

They did not explain to me how it works. Will Paypal instantly accept a 2co email address if I use it to sign up for paydotcom for instance? That is why I want someone that uses this service to inform me how it works. You'll be doing those in PayPal non complaint country a big favour

I can confirm - as user - that customers can pay for a product processed through 2CO with their Paypal account. On the payment page they will be given the option of either using Paypal or a credit card. And obviously you will receive the funds in your 2CO account.

You will, however, need to pay the activation fee for a 2CO account.

      Hey, thanks for that explanation!

I know you asked if you could get receive PayPal payments with AlertPay or 2Checkout. Of course you know AlertPay is out, that won't work.

That leaves 2CO and their $49 fee for an account. The real question is, what are you trying to accomplish?

I read your first post and this what I think is going on:

You're expecting a commission ($700.00) from a third party and they ONLY PAY through PayPal, right? Is that correct?

If I am correct, then what you're actually saying is you don't want to sell something on the internet using a payment processor to accept those Payments, you're looking for something that can directly accept your $700 commission that's only paid by the company/commission people using PayPal?

If that is the case, then no, a 2CO payment processor account won't work for you...

The only possible way for this to work is if you did get a 2CO account, put up a webpage and added a payment button for $700 -- then the people paying your commission could use their PayPal funds/account to pay you this way...

      BUT...

If it's a large commission company that has set rules/procedures and no flexibility, then there is zero chance that this would work.

Maybe you could provide more details (without giving away too much personal information) about who's paying you the commission, their terms, when the payment to you is due and all that?

Knowing this might make it easier for myself or others (or yourself even) to help with a solution?

      P.S.

To be absolutely sure, I did read the entire 2Checkout operating regulations/rules and there's nothing in them to indicate that you can receive a PayPal payment DIRECTLY into your 2CO account: it's clear that they only process payments on your behalf (via products/services that you are offering).

In my opinion, 1ShoppingCart is the absolute best alternative to Paypal:

    Shopping Cart & Ecommerce Software - 1ShoppingCart.com

This service is geared toward Internet Marketers and you can theroetically manage your whole business from here because they have an autoresponder service as well.

Not to mention you can take it for a"test drive" for $3.95...

There's a code floating around for 2CO which waives the initial fee.

I'll post it when I find it though maybe someone will chime in in the meantime.

If you get a sale for 2checkout, they'll process it normally and will wait until each Friday when they send out payments to your bank account. If you sell a product about "internet marketing"... they will make your account inactive. (FYI)

hi there! Sorry you didn't get the full answer you needed from us on how it works. I need some more detail to get you a correct answer though.
    General information:
    - You can use PayPal to sign up for a 2CO Account to pay the $49 app fee.
    - Your customers buying on your website can pay via PayPal (just like they could select a credit card option). The payment through PayPal will still go through our fraud review, etc. and then be deposited into your account.

We pay our Sellers w/ direct deposit into their bank accounts, wire transfers, checks, Payoneer, and FCEFT (CACH).

People who use 2CO need a website in order to sell their products online and will use us for their secure payment processing.

In what way are you wondering how PayPal works with 2CO? Are you wanting an account with us or just trying to get paid one time? If you could be more specific that would help me. You can PM me as well if you like.

    Thanks!

Have in mind that 2checkout will charge you 5.5% of your income. If you use directly PP, the percent is lower. Of course if you can't use PP, 2CO works fine and worth the initial $49 amount.
Have in mind that they will ask you to fax them some documents to prove that you are the person you claim you are.
