What would you do differently if you went back in time with the knowledge you have today?

I would have spent a solid month doing keyword research on the most profitable niche markets. Then I would have looked at Adsense, Commission Junction, a couple of CPA networks, Amazon.com and ClickBank.com for the best paying, highest converting offers.

Then, I would have taken those keywords and picked the first 5 broad niches. I would have created sites around those keywords and spent several months building them on their own dedicated IP addresses without a single ad. Once the traffic reached a certain point, I would add an opt-in to build lists.

Finally, I would create an autoresponder sequence for each niche with complementary offers. Mix useful information with promotions.

Last, but not least, I would look at the server logs and write content based on any keyword phrase that looked promising.

Rinse, repeat.
