Madness...

I saw in the news earlier that there is a piece of glue that has set and looks a little bit like Homer simpson.

The current bid is: (84 Bids) £151,435.00 :p

I can't post links at the moment, but just goto the UK ebay and type:

"Homer Simpson dried glue lookalike"

You might want to bid, I'm sure your get the bonus of free delivery as well...

Good luck getting paid by the highest bidder on that one. I have no idea why people waste their time listing items such as this.

It is crazy! I really wonder if there are any real bids here at all. I can't imagine someone actually shelling out that much money for a piece of glue.

cant believe that people are stupid enough to bid 150,000 for a piece of glue...I suppose ebay will be inundated with more sellers of "glue art" now..

A few years ago, Golden Palace online casino was buying up all of the weird eBay products that made it to the news. They put it all on a truck and had a traveling museum where people could see a piece of toast with the a picture of the Virgin Mary, a Dorito shaped like the Pope's hat, and even the Volkswagon the Pope drove before he was Pope.

Hey, just because someone has bid that much does not mean they are going to pay it. I wouldn't be surprised if eBay is actually behind a lot of these things as it's a cheap way for them to get in the news every now and then.
