But there is gold in them thar hills .... thanks for a valuable resource for those who didn't know and for jogging the memories of those of us that has forgotten this valid traffic stream.

This is very true, but not just in marketing.

When I played professional poker, I sometimes found myself getting a little too fancy for my own good. When that happened and the profits went down, I dug into the most basic book that I owned. It was a book for beginners called 52 Tips for Texas Hold'em. It reminded me of the basics and my profits would normally go right back up.

I use the same tactic in marketing.

I tested an idea that she suggested to me earlier this year -- and it generated for me over 2500 uniques in 48 hours (and for free)

Thanks for the list of sites. Most people these days are attempting overly fancy ways to get a few extra visitors to their site, completely forgetting about simple, yet effective methods such as submitting it to websites such as the ones you have mentioned ni your list. Great tip, thanks for sharing!

Hey guys, does only work for certain sites?

I'm concentrating on Amazon review websites... so... would they 1) qualify for these sort of sites and b) benefit from them.

I'm only asking cause everytime I see methods like this, I imagine that it best suited to blogs that are updated regularaly.... and on more interesting subjects than a house hold appliance...
