hi,

i have 3 children who need hotel rooms. they want me to book for them. they have already bought the airline tickets themselves.

i did talk to their parents and get the permission. the parents are in a foreign country.

can do it for them, and charge a fee? is it legal? but the airline sold the tickets to them. i am sure they make money out of it.

joy

Are these friends - or is this the business you do? In other words - why have they turned to you to do this instead of doing it themselves through a travel agent?

If you are talking about hotels in the US, they may not rent rooms to those under 18. Children travel alone on airlines as they are supervised.

Who would pay a deposit or put down a credit card to reserve the rooms? I think you may be looking at potential money you could make rather than what is involved.

Not enough info to know what's going on.

yes. this is for business. i will not get into this trouble if it is not for money.

however, i will not do anything illegal. i'd rather not do it.

for the airline, i think, the airline does take teenages for international travel. they even charge an extra fee ($200/person or so).

Give the hotel a phone call and find out.

i think, somebody has to take them.

each years, there are thousands foreign students or interns or au pair come to US. majority of them are below 18 years old, and most of them are without adult superviors.

they fly here. the airline charge them a Higher fee than an adult customer.

    check the united.com

    they have 3 class:

    adult: 19
    senior:
    child: to 12.

where are the 12 to 19 years old? it does not show. why? because the United do not want the americna know. but the truth is, they fly them without the adult company.

in several blocks from my house downtown dc, i once met a girl. i asked her, how many people in your Hostel room. she told me: something like one or 2 dozens.

but many hotels still have the rule: 18 or older. so i have to find some hotel who is willing to accomodate them. they can not be on street.
