Scrape Amazon Reviews?

Hello

Is there any tools or api's available to scrape amazon or ebay or any place that provides product reviews. I have been doing this manually and it is very time consuming

Thanks for any advice.

There is a plugin called Zon Builder that pulls reviews and product descriptions from amazon. But I would suggest you to not use them as they would be considered duplicate content and penalized by google.

Im assuming you mean a pluggin for wordpress. I am not using wordpress. I am looking at pulling the reviews to a csv or some sort. Then rewriting them, using tbs..

Just write your own or hire someone to do it for you.

Plus, amazon explicitly prohibits this in their TOS. You most likely will EITHER get your affiliate account terminated, OR get yourself into legal problems.

Sigh... You are not allowed to scrape Amazon reviews. Reviews are no longer offered through the API by Amazon, since last year, and you are not allowed to use the text on your site, only to embed it as an iframe using the code supplied through the API. And of course solely with the aim of promoting Amazon products. But there is no point anyway, Amazon content is duplicated SO many times around the web it is a waste of time thinking of it as useful content in any sense whatsoever, at least from the SEO point of view.

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

Since the OP mentioned scraping the content and running it through a mechanical spinner, I don't think "useful content" is much of a concern.
