Hey guys

I've reached a stage with my gaming site where I'm considering flipping it.

It's a video games site thats got an Alexa rank of around 400k and a Google PR3. Traffic varies on a daily basis between 100 and 200 uniques with around 80% search engine traffic.

To be honest, it's levelled out at its current level and I don't know whether to flip it, or look for advice on how to take it to the next level.

I don't have the time to write new content on a daily basis and the writers I have aren't forthcoming with articles.

Currently, I am left to write new articles, contact PRs, contact developers, bookmarking, forums posting, blog commenting, editing and publishing podcasts bla bla bla

The site is the247arcade.com and if anyone has any advice I would love it.

How much would it be worth? Or, is there an approach I can take that will take it to the next level?

If you or anyone you know have experience with news sites and how to move them forward I would be willing to spend some money but as the advertising only covers the cost of the hosting I don't have an abundance of cash.

Flipping a site works best if the site is generating a reasonable monthly revenue for past 4-5 months.

If it is then it might go for a value of 5X to 10X of its monthly revenue.

The buyers look at the revenue first and do not care much about PR(if its less than 4)and alexa rank if the site is earning well.

What if you ran a article contest and gave one good prize away to the best article of the month. This might get you a bunch of articles and you only have to give out one prize so your cost would be low. Check out contestburner and see if that would work for you.

    Hope that helps.
